Every day, our food service staff serves thousands of meals to students. They keep students nourished and the cafeterias clean and efficient. We are so thankful for this team of heroes and the work they do to serve kids!

On April 8, a solar eclipse will cross over the United States. Ferguson-Florissant School District will be in the path of the (partial) solar eclipse. The eclipse will be most evident in the St. Louis area around 1:55 to 2:05 p.m. Our area will experience a deep partial eclipse, with 99.1% coverage of the sun by the moon.

To prepare for this rare opportunity, Ferguson-Florissant has designed learning opportunities for the day so that students can experience this event in a safe and educational manner. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/4aoM4aQ

We are creating a master facilities plan for the entire district and want to hear from you. We have two community engagement meetings coming up. The first meeting is on April 3 at 6 p.m. at STEAM High School, and the second meeting is on April 4 at 6 p.m. at McCluer High School.

This is a great opportunity to provide input as part of our long-range facility planning process for our schools.

REMINDER: All FFSD schools and offices will be closed for Spring Break from March 25-29, 2024. No school for students on Monday, April 1 for staff professional development and Tuesday, April 2 for a teacher work day. Classes resume on Wednesday, April 3. Have a safe and enjoyable break!
