Now on Tap: Ghost Stories, 11.5% ABV braggot (half beer, half mead)

Made to resemble a cross between a Belgian dark strong and pastry stout. About 50% of the fermentables in this beer come from honey. Flavors of dark malts, dates, and roasted barley play nicely with the sweet honey and light-handed hops. A light addition of lapsang souchong tea and peated malt adds a subtle smoke.

A re-imagining of a collab originally made by B. Nektar and Cigar City in Tampa, FL. Tim Ogden (now of Deviant Libations Brewing) joined us at B. Nektar to develop and create this sinfully decadent elixir.

This weekend, Kerri and Brad are spreading the love at Brewskival beer festival in Helsingborg, Sweden.

For 11 years, we've had the privilege of representing B. Nektar and American Craft Mead in Scandinavia.

One of my favorite toys (er...I mean, tools) is our bench top centrifuge. During recipe development, we can clarify the mead/cider/beer and know exactly how it will taste as a large batch.

Working on the upcoming Cowboy Coffee. A second runnings beer from the mash of the Ghost Stories collab. Made with lots of lactose, vanilla and natural coffee flavors. It will be available in the taproom and the Michigan Summer Beer Festival.
