2024 Heavenly Haircuts Form Thank you for choosing to help Bless Up & Bloom! Events this year listed below August 5 - Tiffin August 12 - Findlay August 19- Upper Sandusky

For those that are new to our organization, I wanted to give some more information and context.

About Bless Up & Bloom

Bless Up & Bloom is a non-profit organization that provides hygiene and wellness services to residents of Hancock County. Bless Up & Bloom was created to meet individuals in their time and place of need, specifically their hygiene and wellness challenges, to empower personal growth and feelings of self-worth. Back to School haircut events and salon services for individuals and families that don’t have adequate access are the current focus of the efforts of our organization.

As the non-profit sponsor of Heavenly Haircuts, we are proud to host events that provide haircuts for local students returning to school. The Heavenly Haircut initiative was born of the understanding that many children do not have access to receive back to school haircuts and that the knowledge that feeling confident in one’s appearance can make the difficult period of adolescence easier. This confidence makes responding to criticism and harassment regarding appearance or home situation easier and reduces the trauma and anxiety these children experience.

These events provide back to school haircuts and hygiene supplies to children who may not have access to return back to school feeling confident in their appearance and hygiene. In the last three years, Bless Up & Bloom has served over 500 residents, meeting their hygiene and wellness needs, providing valuable resources that continue to increase their self-esteem and help guide them through personal challenges, thereby allowing them to find their own confidence and value.

Hey y'all. We are looking for donations and volunteers to help make this years Heavenly Haircuts even better than before. You can use the QR codes on this flyer to either access our page to volunteer (and donate) or the Venmo code to donate directly to our mission.
The community partnerships with Bloom, yes, even your partnership with us, is what makes these events to special for all involved.

💐April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month💐

Being a hairstylist I am honored enough to be able to be a light and a professional stylist at the same time to many behind the chair .

Through the end of the month I am raising awareness and partnering with Open Arms that for every Gift Card you purchase I will personally donate back to give 5 people a new look of confidence to feel valued after their trauma .

Please join me in paying it forward and you are more than welcome to just donate to this cause if I am not your hairstylist and it will get paid forward on behalf of Bless Up and Bloom Non Profit

Bless Up & Bloom has the honor of partnering with Findlay City Schools to provide hygiene kits for 100 students. These kits provide hygiene products that will last for 4-6 months of use.
Shampoo, Conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, brush and loofah are all included in the kits. A voucher is included in each kit, redeemable for a haircut with a partner stylist.

We couldn’t have made this happen without the generosity of
Findlay City School, Cosmoprof, Ohio Shirt Company
and the dedication of Bless Up & Bloom’s members.

We look forward to a continued partnership with Findlay City Schools and are incredibly humbled that we get to be a part of these students stories and success.
