Next week, it’s getting hot out there! Drink lots of fluids including electrolyte solutions. We always say to make sure you get a couple of bottles of electrolyte solution in on hot days especially working outside because straight water will dilute to sodium levels and you’re already at a loss of sodium with sweating.

Again, we are here for you in times of need for IV hydration. People at risk for dehydration related problems are the elderly, athletes, children, and outdoor workers. Have a great week! 

It’s ball time!!! And CRAMP time….sadly. With games starting this week, athletes are at higher risk to experience cramping and injuries during the heat. Pre-hydration is very helpful. We see these athletes usually day of game and sometimes during the week when the practices are hard to get through. OHSAA and NCAA approved. Good luck athletes as we are started back to a new year!

Holy moly!! It’s been getting busy! Please remember, IV therapy is our bread and butter, however we strive to meet your other medical needs as well, including labwork, urgent visits, well checks, and dietary counseling.

Reminder! OHSAA physicals are due for fall season sports August 1! We still have openings tomorrow and Thursday to get you in!

Visits are by appointment only. We do not have office hours. We try to be flexible in needs and calls. Most of the time you will be connected with the provider. Thanks so much.

We have some news!

Starting July 8, we will be operating at a new location under a new name, “Findlay Infusion”. The new site will be located at 2400 Bright Road in Findlay. We will still be offering urgent medical appointments and intravenous therapy (whether it’s fluids, homeopathic vitamins, or prescribed medications such as antibiotics, steroids, zofran, etc) prescribed by your provider or coming into the clinic to be evaluated by one of ours. We will still see urgent medical matters, such as asthma exacerbation, poison ivy, lacerations, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, etc. All standard operations at our current location will be through June 30.

Dr Dan, chiropractic and Massage with Marcia Klima will be at Dr. Dan Chiropractic at 748 Western Ave. in Findlay. We appreciate all of your support at Findlay Optimal Health. We are very grateful to serve the community. 

We will definitely be having medical appointments and intravenous appointments Saturday morning 9-12p in case those of you need to see a clinician over the weekend!

There’s more than just the emergency room.

Saw a young man today for raging acute tonsillitis accompanied by myalgias and fatigue. Continuing antibiotic. Supporting with fluids with b vitamins and high dose vitamin C as he has slowed eating and drinking. Also, checking culture due to very slow response to previously prescribed antibiotic by urgent care.
