Yesterday, the Wilson Football Factory in Ada, OH, hosted an open house for their new facility. We are thrilled about this exciting addition and honored to have been chosen as the general contractor for a building that produces footballs for the NFL.

Last week, two of our employees, Kellie and Tim, drove to Decorah, Iowa, to pick up the Daughters of the American Revolution Plaque that was being restored. We had dropped it off in March and were able to pick it up last week. We're thrilled to have contributed to restoring this piece for the Lima Chapter DAR. A big thank you to Gemini for restoring a historical piece of Lima, Ohio!

Yesterday, we poured the concrete for the lap pool at Lima Aquatic Park. Things are really coming together, and we can't wait for the Lima community to see the finished project next year! Huge thanks to everyone who has worked so hard in this Ohio heatwave!

Charles Construction Services Supports D.A.R. Plaque Restoration Journey!!

On Thursday, March 21, our dedicated employees, Tim and Kellie, set out from Lima after a full day's work to commence the restoration journey of the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) plaque. The journey spanned a total of 10 hours, culminating in their arrival at the Gemini Decorah, Iowa location on Friday, March 22. Upon reaching their destination, the plaque was handed off to begin its much-anticipated restoration process.

We are proud to have donated the transportation of the plaque to the foundry and back to Lima, continuing our commitment to preserving and honoring our nation's history.

The D.A.R. is still in need of $1,557 in donations to complete this important restoration. Donations can be made to the Lima Chapter D.A.R., and we encourage everyone to contribute to the preservation of this significant piece of American history.

On Tuesday, Charles Construction Services participated in a comprehensive training session for Competent Person Rigger and Signal Person, held at Ohio Means Jobs in Allen County!

Last Friday marked the commencement of construction for the Lima Aquatic Park, bringing the long-awaited concept to life. Ohio will soon boast its inaugural pool featuring a retractable roof. We eagerly anticipate contributing to the community with this incredible enhancement to Lima.

We're here at the Hancock County fairgrounds set up for Touch a Truck. Bring the kiddos out to see the big rigs and big toys! Many companies are represented here from 10- 2 for your enjoyment. Stop out to support them!

It's back! Mark your calendars now for Touch a Truck Saturday, September 9 from 10:00 to 2:00 at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. Charles Construction will have some equipment there for the kiddos to sit on/in and so will many other businesses!
