Spring is in the air! Last weekend, we observed our 2nd year, Erika Schwartz, provide care at the ASU Maroon Monsoon Women's Gymnastics Tri-Meet against the University of Oklahoma and University of California, Berkeley. It was an exciting meet and we have some snapshots of our student with her clinical preceptor, Shelby Feltrop.
Erika is excited to finish her final semester in the NAU MSAT program and has a few words to share:
"This year I was given the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience working with the ASU Women’s Gymnastics Team. With the help of my preceptor, I have enjoyed applying my gymnastics skill set, while improving my clinical assessment skills. My second year in NAU's MSAT program has been a positive learning experience, combining my classroom knowledge with hands-on practice. This has increased my confidence as I get closer to becoming a certified Athletic Trainer."
Keep up the great work, Erika!
