Rituals of Being is the Culmination of the work Breanna Rogers and I have been doing with a group of stellar community dancers in the last year. We've been exploring how ritual is a process of concentrating intention and creating potent forms that engage with the cycles and mysterious of our lives.

I’m continuing the series of Online Mindful Movement Classes in November 2021 which I'm calling "A Sense of Balance"
Mondays and Fridays throughout November 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29.
10:30am Flagstaff time - 12:30 East Coast - 5:30pm London time.

A Sense of Balance.
I am looking at this in both a physical and emotional, psychological way. How do we find balance in our lives, neither doing too much nor too little, how do we avoid overwhelm? How do we find balance in the way we stack up on our bones over our feet? Balance is not a static thing which is accomplished through rigidity and holding. Just think of how a tight rope walker constantly adjusts and moves in order to maintain balance. We will explore movements in standing, sitting and lying on the floor or if necessary a firm bed, which will help us to become more aware of and improve our sense of balance.
The classes will be cumulative and build on each other but they can also be done individually. I will record the classes for you to do later if you cannot make the class times.

I’m starting 2 new series of online Mindful Movement classes based on Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement
Mondays and Fridays throughout October.
9:30am Flagstaff time - 5:30pm London time.

Mondays classes will be focused on A Sense of Balance.

Friday Classes - which I am calling “Seeing Clearly”.
The focus will be on the use of our eyes in movement. It seems that we are almost all addicted to screens these days and that takes its toll on our vision, movement, posture/acture, balance and how we use our head/neck/spine.
Classes can be adapted to be done in a chair but will mostly be in standing, sitting and on the floor or firm bed.

The classes will be cumulative and build on each other but they can also be done individually. I will record the classes for you to do later if you cannot make the class times.

PAYMENT
$20 per class or $70 for all Friday Classes, $70 for all Mondays Classes or $120 for all the Classes.

Spring forward time changes:
Arizona doesn’t change their clocks on March 14 as the rest of the US does and UK changes their clocks on March 28. So keep an eye out March 14 for class time changes.
March 15, 19, 22 class will be an hour earlier in UK at 4:30pm and in Arizona classes will switch to being at 9:30am.
