Congratulations to Battalion Chief Tony Casali, he retired today after over 23 years at Guardian Medical Transport. We all wish him a fun filled retirement and we thank him for his leadership, dedication and hard work over the years!

Another beautiful day at Station 52!

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the passing of Larry Neal, a long-time and well-respected paramedic with Guardian Medical Transport. Larry passed away Friday morning after battling a short illness. Larry has been with NAH since 2004 when he joined us as an ED tech at Flagstaff Medical Center. He transferred over to Guardian Medical transport after earning his paramedic certification where he has made a difference in the lives of so many patients and the respect of all EMS and fire agencies.

Larry was a veteran paramedic for Guardian and was viewed as a role model and father figure for the newer paramedics. He is described by co-workers as “an amazing caregiver”, “highly skilled lifesaver”, a “kind and caring colleague” but most importantly, “a family man”. This was demonstrated when, after serving as a captain on the team for many years, Larry made the decision to step down and go back to a paramedic role so that he could have more time to spend with his family whom he cherished.

Our condolences go out to Larry’s wife, Kelli, Director of Medical Surgical Services, and to his three beautiful children, Caitlyn, Jake and Hardy. Services are pending and details will be shared as they become available.
