When you have a crappy cold, buy yourself a bag of Aldi mini wontons, heat up some chicken stock and add a splash or two of soy sauce, a squeeze of ginger paste, a squeeze of garlic paste and any veggies you want. (I added a bit of thinly slice cabbage, carrot and green onion). Toss those wontons into that simmering brew. They only take a couple of minutes to cook. Some shredded fresh spinach and toasted sesame oil went in last. Y’all. This stuff is rocking my world.

Franklin Avenue Mission at 2210 N. Franklin Avenue, Flint, MI 48506 has excess food available from Dollar General due to a power outage. It is available immediately. Most of the food is frozen.
