I’ve always dreamt of this day. From the time I was a little girl I knew I wanted to own a salon one day. I drew out plans on blank pieces of paper and put big “L’s” as the handles of the double doors of my dream salon that I thought would be called, “Lavish.” That dream never went away it was just buried for a few years throughout the rollercoaster that life takes us on. Through God’s immaculate plan I began my career with the honor of working under many amazing hair artists as an assistant. I starting at 16 in Atlanta… Then I was humbled with the opportunity to work on people that I had watched in movie theatres and on the TV screen in locations throughout the U.S… And lastly, I’ve worked with the most amazing clientele a girl could ask for back behind the chair for over a year now…

For this next chapter in the book God wrote of my life, He chose to allow that childhood dream of owning a salon to be within reach. I have known Ramona Yeager my entire life. She has been a consistent, hard-working, beautiful, kind, intelligent, talented, and wise business woman. She has captivated the hearts of so many that have either sat in her chair or have been blessed with the opportunity to cross paths with her. I am beyond humbled and honored that she, after many prayers I’m sure, chose me to be her successor and purchase her business.

Ramona’s is known for one thing and it’s talented stylists that have stood the test of time. Some stylists have been working stylists for 28-50 years. I have personally grown as a stylist and person in the presence of these artists and I’m thankful they’re choosing to stay. I am blessed to know and work with each and every one of them! We will also have some new stylists coming to join the Salon family and will be offering more services as well in the near future. You will also see a brand new name and a little aesthetic change as well in the future as we grow. I’m thankful for this opportunity and to continue to serve this amazing community we have.

Thank you Ramona for trusting me with your legacy. I am thankful you are staying with me to continue taking your clients! You are a master at your craft and I know your clients are thankful you’re not going anywhere!

i only caught a quick shot of LaFonda’s hair before she was back to work. she is another stylist at Ramona’s that let me take care of her a few days ago. I love the vanilla blonde we created by applying a dark base, highlighting, and the toning with for a beautifully shiny finish. shaped up her layers and length, then styled with a round brush.
