In 1995 I moved to Florence area and shortly thereafter I was introduced to the Professional world of cosmetology. I have worked with some amazing people in some awesome places but there hasn’t been nothing better then to work in my own salon. This place has given me such a great piece. A place to grow and enjoy the craft that I chose over 27 years ago. And with tear rolling down my face I am truly saddened to be announcing that September 1st I will be closing down Y B Average Hair Salon. During the pandemic as most Cosmetologist and salon owners I took a major hit, not only financially but emotionally as well. When working with the public it is your responsibility to do everything in your power to make sure that your clients are safe. With all of the information that is out I’m not really sure who to trust and what to believe. I am not ready to get the vaccine so that to amongst other things has been a deciding factor in why I am choosing to close my salon down. I don’t wanna put anyone at risk. I will be in the Salon the next couple of weeks so feel free to stop by. My heart is so heavy but I know the next chapter in my life will be just as amazing with a little bit of crazy. Thanks to all that has supported me over the years you will never understand how truly grateful I am!!!!! 💔😭
