Goodbye Beta. Hello Webtalk v1.0

It's always sad to say goodbye, but we are looking forward to Webtalk's next chapter with all of you. Webtalk's Beta launch was a big success acquiring more than 13 million total users, and over 1.3 million registered users across 138 countries.

We also paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars back to our users through our Rewards program.

That said, the revenue that we generated during our invite-only Beta was not enough to cover the costs of operations to maintain our Beta.

As a result, we depended on financing from private investors to both cover the costs of Beta operations, and to fund the development of new technologies for our v1.0 release.

This week we decided, after some recent technology glitches that caused outages, to simply sunset our Beta due to the costs of repair in an effort to apply all new investment funds that we raise into the development of our v1.0 software.

We have already invested over $6.5MM developing our technologies, and we plan to invest several million more to complete our v1.0 platform prior to its official release.

Our goal to provide end-to-end relationship management for our v1.0 release remains the same, but our mission statement has changed. Our new mission is to create safety and prosperity for the world through verified data.

Fake data/users online leads to more crime, fake news, and poor quality business relationships.

We believe the world is ready for a more trustworthy community that will lead to a safer and more prosperous future for our global community as a whole. Our v1.0 rewards program will have many new financial incentives offered to our members who get verified.

Webtalk Beta Update

As some of you may know, the development of Webtalk's MVP (minimum viable product) was estimated to cost $10 million.

Hello Webtalkers,

As a brief update, earlier this year Webtalk was accepted into the NewChip accelerator to help us raise a $10MM funding round.

NewChip is one of top accelerators in the US that only accepts the top 3% of candidates, and as a result has a 70% success rate of getting companies funded.

We have been heads down working on our due diligence documents to raise another funding round. At the same time, our team has been planning and designing the next generation of our technologies once the new funds are received.

There have been some recent updates to our Android and iOS apps to improve the experience and fix bugs.

Another update is coming soon that will fix the issue with video ads not reloading quickly, which is requiring a page refresh to load more video ads to earn more points. Once the fix is deployed, new videos ads will appear automatically after one finishes until the ad is closed.

After the new funding round has closed, we will be working on major enhancements across the board for our final release and official launch.

WEBTALK REWARDS UPDATE

As part of our efforts to increase rewards, we will soon be launching new banner ads that will run in our feeds that prompt our members to click the ad to watch video ads to earn more rewards.

These video ads have a countdown timer on them, which is the timer that provides the rewards after the video has played all the way through.

We will also be increasing the number of ads that can be watched per day.

PRO customers will receive a 2X or 3X multiplier on points earned and there will be additional point multipliers based on the payouts of the ads so you will be able to earn up to $1 per ad view.

WEBTALK iOS & ANDROID UPDATE

Today, we released beta version 35 or v0.0.35 to the App & Play Stores. Please allow up to 24 hours to receive the notification that the update is available for download.

In this release we have fixed bugs and optimized overall performance making apps faster.

NOTE: We are also working on tools to optimize the revenue and rewards generated from mobile apps. This is a top priority as our apps gain in popularity.

Webtalk's current member total as of today is: 1,328,726 with approximately 20% active monthly, with an average of 4.5 days active per month (or 1 day per week on average).

Time per visit averages 28 minutes.

NOTE: If you want to generate more advertising revenue from your referrals, post quality content daily so there is incentive for your referrals/followers to login daily to view your content.

The more often your referrals login and the more time they spend using Webtalk with each visit the more rewards you will earn.

Behind the scenes we are working to give our Rewards comp plan an upgrade that will make it more lucrative for all of our affiliates.

A few key changes we are considering prior to coming out of Beta...

1. Much higher ad reward payouts for content creators to attract top influencers ie. 10% for under 10K views/mo, 15% for 10K-100K views per month, 30% for 100K - 1M views per month, 60% for 1M+ views per month

2. Promotions that help you get your Webtalk premium feature subscriptions FREE

3. New compensation structure that has three tiers... Affiliates, Super Affiliates, and Diamond Affiliates.

4. Paying commissions up to 10 levels deep (Super Affiliates & Diamond Affiliates)

5. Earning Webtalk Coin (WTC) for engagement, making purchases, referral engagement, and referral purchases (coin will pay company wide revenue-based dividends) ---Replacing the points system

NOTE: We are also looking into allowing top content creators to launch your own subscription services so your followers can subscribe to your premium content, similar to; YouTube Channel Memberships, Instagram Subscribe Memberships, and OnlyFans.

Going this route will allow Webtalk to pay competitive compensation to creators/influencers to compete against YouTube Monetization, while maintaining a highly attractive affiliate program for referring creators and influencers to join Webtalk and for influencers to promote Webtalk to their followers in other platforms.

Webtalk & Webtalk Rewards Early Reveal

As many of you may know, Webtalk has been working on some significant product enhancements behind the scenes. We have been collecting feedback and data from our beta members to determine the best path forward post-beta.

We determined what works/what our members love, and what doesn't/what can be improved.

As of right now, below is a list of planned improvements.

1) Webtalk Verify

We will be launching a new subscription called Webtalk Verify that will Verify the identities of our members around the world.

COST: The cost will vary by country from $10/mo-$20/mo based on our costs to complete the verification

COST ALTERNATIVE: Members will be able to watch video ads every month to reduce or eliminate the cost of the verify subscription

BENEFITS: Verified members will earn a badge next to their name to show they are verified. Verified members will appear FIRST in all searches and member matchmaking. The content from verified members will appear FIRST in the Discover search engine and the newsfeed. ie. Get discovered for more opportunities and grow your followers faster

PLUS: Verified members will have UNLIMITED messaging capabilities to non-connections (There will be cap rates implemented to prevent spamming)

REWARDS: Only verified members will be ELIGIBLE TO EARN REWARDS to allow Webtalk to meet KYC laws around the world.

2) Open Enrollment

Post Beta launch we plan to implement a new Leaderboard that displays affiliates who have referred the most new customers (verify and PRO) that week, and all new members who join without a referral will be assigned a sponsor from our leaderboard that week (Sunday night at midnight PST).

How it will work is a weekly Powerline. Every time you refer a customer you will be added to the powerline in order set by the time your referral was made. As new members join without a referral, they are assigned a sponsor from the powerline. If more people join than people who are on the powerline, the assignments will restart from the top of the powerline and go back to the bottom. This will give affiliates at the top of the powerline the opportunity to receive many more free referrals. Additionally, each customer referral in a calendar week will add a new spot on the weekly powerline so you can have unlimited entries into the weekly powerline.

3) Ad Rewards

Rather than awarding points that redeem for cash, we will be launching Webtalk Coin that will be awarded for video views and pageviews. We plan to list our coin on all major cryptocurrency exchanges so it can be bought and sold at the holder's discretion.

BONUS: Our Webtalk Coin will pay a one-time dividend to all coin holders upon the sale, or IPO, of Webtalk that is equal in value to 5% of the company. This means there could be significant value in both holding your coins as well as earning as many as you can.

ie. If Webtalk IPO's at a $100B valuation, then $5B will be awarded to all coin holders on a pro rata basis.

NOTE: You will also be able to take your Verify and PRO commissions as coins if you choose to do so.

4) Webtalk Smart Biz Card

We will be launching a new Smart Biz Card that when tapped or scanned by a smartphone will open your Webtalk profile and allow a person to download your contact info after signing in or signing up for a Webtalk account via a quick 2-step process (1. enter name and phone #, 2. Verify phone #).

This new card will not only replace your traditional business cards, it will also seamlessly bring you new referrals as everyone who joins Webtalk to download your contact card will become your referral.

WEBTALK VERIFY UPDATES

Recently, some questions about the upcoming Verify service were asked, and this post is to address them here publicly.

First, when Webtalk Verify goes live there will be THREE (3) levels of verification for ID, work/education credentials, and references.

You will be able to earn up to 3 unique “verified” badges.

1. Some verification levels may not be available outside of U.S during the Beta (global expansion is planned)

2. ID Verification will be required to earn rewards (note: we will implement ID verification in as many countries as possible during the Beta)

3. There will be “no cost” options to get verified

Lastly, Webtalk is a highly robust software technology with many moving parts that has required extensive Beta testing with real people.

A. We have built, tested, and improved the core networking services

B. We have built, tested, and improved our monetization models (ads and subscriptions)

C. We have built, tested and improved our Rewards program and income opportunity.

After analyzing the data from the last round of improvements, we have determined the next round of improvements and new services.

Included in the next round of services is our new Verified services, an easier on boarding experience, a simplified and more lucrative compensation plan for rewards members, and new tools to help our members connect.

Each product enhancement is designed to improve the overall experience, and in turn improve our Rewards income opportunity.

Webtalk was just accepted into the next NewChip Accelerator class to help the company raise another $5MM in our late seed funding round.
