Please help us welcome Marlene Price, Assistant Principal, to Bluebonnet! Mrs. Price is a proud educator for 20 years, with the past five years serving as Assistant Principal at Wellington Elementary in LISD. While there, Mrs. Price was nominated as LISD Assistant Principal of the Year all five years, and she was selected as a top three finalist for the district for three of those five years! She comes with a wealth of experience that will benefit both students and staff. Mrs. Price considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the students, staff, and families of Bluebonnet.

Mrs. Price is an Aggie (WHOOP!). She loves spending time with her family (husband, Chris, and sons Jake- 22 and Luke- 20). She enjoys shopping, traveling, college football, and crafting.

Mrs. Price says that she is thrilled to be joining the Bluebonnet Family, which already feels like home. Mrs. Price is looking forward to a great year and can’t wait to meet our amazing students on the first day!

What an amazing and incredible week our BBE staff had last week as we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year! From a special visit from Dr. Rapp and Mrs. Godbey, to digging into our school's priorities and discussing an elite culture, to BEAR Talk, to a Goose Chase Scavenger Hunt, to lots and lots of team building fun! It was a wonderful week of learning and connection. We are ready and excited for the first day of school on Tuesday!!!

HUGE Shoutout to Heavenly Crust Pizza Flower Mound who so generously gifted each BBE staff member with an XL pizza for dinner on their first day back to school! Such a treat! NEW STAFF SPOTLIGHT!!

Please help us welcome Mary Kay Pfister, 3rd grade teacher, to Bluebonnet! Mrs. Pfister loves the Astros, The Aggies, and anything with a wagging tail! 😉 She and her husband have two girls – both studying at Texas A&M. Mrs. Pfister says she is most excited about catching up with old friends and making new ones at Bluebonnet – so many familiar faces make this move very sweet.

About OneInMath
OneInMath is a free program for students from kindergarten to 3rd grade to learn basic arithmetic from one digit addition to 4 digit division. It is run by high school volunteers. The program has been offered for the last 13 years, and volunteers have devoted over 10,000 hours towards the cause. It is a structured program that emphasizes environment as well as content to generate long lasting love for math in young students so they would be more likely to choose STEM in later years and grow up to be more confident. NEW STAFF SPOTLIGHT!!

Please help us welcome Mimi Robb, School Counselor, to Bluebonnet! Mrs. Robb is originally from Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks💚💛) with her undergraduate degree in Family and Human Services and Lewis & Clark College with her masters in School Counseling. She has been a school counselor for 11 years, and it is her dream job! Outside of work, Mrs. Robb loves spending time with her family (husband, 2 young kids). She loves watching sports, especially football and golf. She also loves listening to country music and Taylor Swift, watching Disney movies, being outside, reading books, arts and crafts, and exploring new places. Mrs. Robb says she is most excited that she gets to work with such amazing students, families and staff!! She is excited to bring her high energy and skills in social emotional awareness to everyone.

Please help us welcome Campbell Clark, 2nd grade teacher, to Bluebonnet! Miss Clark graduated from Texas A&M University and spent this past year teaching English in Madrid, Spain. She was able to learn more about teaching and the Spanish culture while also traveling all around Europe! She absolutely loves watching football, traveling, baking, reading, and spending time with her family. Miss Clark says she is excited to meet and get to know her first group of students! She also can’t wait to be involved in the community of faculty members, students, and parents that make Bluebonnet so amazing!
