3rd Grade is rocking Kindness week!! Who am I kidding, these kids rock being kind all the time!!!!

Celebrate your favorite Dolphin's birthday, accomplishment, or special occasion with a personalized donation to the Donald Library! Parents, family, and community members can now donate a book from our wish list, or you can choose to donate a book of your choice. When you select a book to donate, you will also be able to personalize a permanent book plate inside the front cover of the book with a custom message for your honoree. All books will be shipped to our school, processed, and ready to be added the shelves directly from the vendor. To make sure the person you are celebrating sees your gift, the honoree will get to be the first person to check the book out! 2024- 2025 Devoted Dolphins Teachers and students are always needing extra help in the classroom! We would like to extend a program to Devoted Dolphins, previous Dolphins or siblings of Dolphins, to come volunteer! If you haven't joined out PTA yet, please do. They do so much for our school. Just last year they bought 5 thousand dollars worth of new library books, they funded the creation of the new art room, purchased the new cafeteria tables. Plus they bought resources for the students that included, BrainPop, PebbleGo and Scholastic News. We can't thank them enough!!!

Did you know that the last couple of years we have had a Theme at Donald? 22-23 was "Adventure Awaits" and we had all kinds of travel decorations. 23-24 was "Camp Donald" and all the decorations and shirts went with that theme. Well this year we decided to let the kids in on the fun. Each grade level came up with a theme and we are letting the kids and teachers vote. We have buckets outside of the office where we are hosting a "penny war" of sorts. Don't be confused there are more than pennies in there. I've seen kids dumping piggy banks and even some cold hard cash being dropped in.

The winner will be announced Friday afternoon so if you want to send in your loose change or dollar bills, you can vote for your favorite. The money will go to buy decorations and other items for the theme.
