🍲 They both come from different regions and they both have their own flavors.

Although they may be similar and use similar ingredients, they both have their unique flavors.

Lets take enchiladas for example. Enchiladas de mole are truly authentic Mexican food.

You will not find mole in any Texmex menu. On the other hand Sour Cream chicken enchiladas are uniquely Texmex. I cannot think of a dish containing sour cream sauce in the Mexican Cuisine.
