When your Doctor asks you to build her a table, you really gotta be on your game.
•
The last thing I need is a cold stethoscope, hours in a waiting room, or to ever hear the words bend over.
•
Thank the good Lord she liked it.
It’s been nearly 4 years since I built one of these custom wine barrel coffee tables.
+++++
This one is 100% reclaimed, and the barrel is oak.
+++++
It is heavily saw marked, and a conversation piece for sure. Shoot me a message if you’re interested.
Spring is the best time to prep those outdoor spaces for some good memory making.

This table is 10 feet with a mixture of reclaimed pine and reclaimed maple. Thankful for these great customers. We hope they enjoy it.
•
A friend of mine has been remodeling their home, and sent me the design for a sliding barn door.
•
I used a high quality sheet of Lexan instead of glass. Very clear and durable. I loved this piece so much I felt like I just had to pose with it.
•
God truly blessed us this year and doubled our family.
•
We had to go bigger on the stocking box, and I was fortunate to land some wood from Julie’s Grandparents house that was recently torn down. Sentimental for us both.
•
Thank you all for your continued support.

My most recent baluster coffee table filling my customer’s space perfectly, and just in time for the holidays.

A little mini fridge stand and some bottom storage for goodies.

Been very busy, thus I’ve gotten a little behind on my posting. The Christmas grind has begun.

This dark pine kitchen island top paired up nicely with my partner’s cabinetry skills.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I realize this piece kinda looks like a small table, but it’s actually a bench.
::::::::::::::::::::
There is a significant advantage to ordering a custom piece; especially when you have specific measurements or a quirky space to fill like this customer.

This piece was a fun custom build designed by my customer.
•
This trestle base farm table turned out great.
•
Always a good feeling when I get a photo of one of my pieces in a happy customer’s home.

Reclaimed maple top perched on a really cool vintage base.
•
This table really tried my patience. I came close to setting it on fire several times.
•
My fireman buddy brought me a stack of heart pine boards from his grandfathers home place.
•
After hours of intense labor, I gave birth to this...
No epidural by the way.
•
Over time I’ve learned a lot of distressing techniques, but you just can’t beat the real thing.
•
Decade old reclaimed wood has tighter grain and so much character.
•
This entry table was made from heart pine that was torn off an old barn in North Georgia.
•
Every last detail of this massive 9 foot farm table was customized by my customer.
•
I gotta say this paint color paired with this stain is really slick looking. Also these 5 inch chunky legs are killer.
•
I love building tables. I love my customers. I just really love this whole process.

High mirror demand this month.
This is the last one remaining.

Sometimes our white walls need a pop of color.

The only way to accomplish this is to tap into your inner Bob Ross.

This wall/stand-up mirror is 29.5x68.5.
My MIL did a little kitchen remodeling and asked me to update this vintage base with a cool top for her breakfast nook.
I’m glad I chose this cherry top. The finished product looks pretty sharp with the updated base.
How great would it be to sit around this table with a mound of hot wings and bleu cheese???
Can you say bucket list?
A barn wood mirror.
The perfect touch to any farm house.
Once upon a time my Dad was working on his tractor without a shirt on. He bent down and my buddy poured a cup of ice cold water down the back of his shorts. My dad lost it.
Thank you for the memory.
Your courage and bravery that day to perform such a task was inspiring. Enjoy your media table bro.
Introducing my newest barndoor:
“The Farmhouse”
By morning it will hang in a very patient customer of mines home. I’m thankful I was given creative freedom on this piece. Usually I’m pretty hard on myself, but I really do love this door..................................................

Shou Sugi Ban is an ancient Japanese tradition of charring wood to preserve it. Fire actually seals the wood and waterproofs it. I’ve been watching YouTube videos of the process, and decided to give it a whirl.
This 48 inch trestle style base turned out nice.
Sealed to pieces with poly for extra protection.
Probably not doing many more of these since it’s such a lengthy process.

Industrial Coffee Table.
Huge thanks to the guys out at TEVCO Manufacturing in Buford for this custom metal X brace base.
Talented, good dudes for sure.
I built the top with local wood pulled from the historic Buford Tannery.
This piece of history can not be replicated. The top is nearly 3 inches thick of solid 100 year old oak.

24W 42L 20H ..............................................
This customer brought me 100+ year old poplar wood pulled from her family’s property in Banks County.
Trying to maintain the character of aged wood is a delicate process, but the end results are gratifying.
It’s an honor to be a part of creating a family heirloom.....................................
BEFORE & AFTER................................................
These reclaimed oak shelves really came to life after a million sanding pads and some finish.
Crazy what happens when you put in the time and a little elbow grease.
Some of the nastiest saw marks this side of the Mississippi.
FOR SALE $725 OBO.
This 4 foot top can hold 5-6.
The vintage pedestal base is a light distressed gray.
I need space in the shop.
Please share. Have a great day.
The vintage hardware on this barn door is really unique.
A buddy of mine had it sand blasted and refinished, and I was able to add it to the build.
Once installed, this piece will add a pop of color to this customer’s space.

It seems like the trend these days is people creating more open floor plans with lighter colors to brighten the home. This vintage base is distressed a soft grey and the 4 foot top has a light stain to really allow the character of the wood to come through. Please contact me directly if you are interested in purchasing.

This past year I’ve gotten much busier and I’ve had the privilege of working with some talented builders. Shane Martin and Hal Hogan have really been a blessing to our business. When we surround ourselves with people who are willing to teach and share then our craft improves immensely.
Loving how this X base farmhouse style Coffee table turned out.

Largest table in Farm Shed history: 12 feet.
We have lovingly named this mammoth The Lords Supper Table. I look forward to building one of these for my own family in the future. What’s more important than serving God and loving our families?
The answer is nothing.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Yanked some cool wood off a house in Buford that was being demolished and made this farm house style mirror.
I don’t get a lot of opportunities to build non-custom pieces, and it was fun utilizing and repurposing that old wood.
This piece is for sale.
$125
Dimensions: 45x33

Finally got to wrap up this cedar & pine trio. I’m also finishing up my longest table to date and will post photos of it next week.
Trying to balance our growing family with work has been quite a challenge for me, but God has provided a balance and lots of patient customers.
We are caught up and officially taking new orders. Excited for the new builds and relationships to come in 2018.

It has felt good to get back in the shop the past couple days after spending the past couple weeks taking care of my wife and the babies.
