The kiddos and I love spending time together outdoors. They had a blast getting to pick their own berries

Not only do they get to have the satisfaction of picking them; they also learn how much hard work goes into berry picking and are more grateful for them.

One of the best part of having a home office and picking my own hours is that I get to spend time with my kiddos doing fun activities.

Realtors are there to help you find your perfect match, a.k.a. your perfect place to call home.
Home buying is a big decision and you don’t want someone to be pushing whatever on you just because they want to make a quick sale. You want the person who is going to take what you tell them is your idea of a perfect home and do the research and hard work into finding that perfect match. Then after finding that perfect match they will be your be your “wedding planner”…they will make sure you are on top of the things you need to get done to get your perfect home and they will get everything they need to do done in a timely manner to make the process and stress free as possible.

This little dude had his last T-Ball game of the season last night. He was so excited to play this year. I am so proud of how much he has improved throughout the season.

At the beginning of the season, he could throw the ball hard but with no accuracy, his hitting was good and would get to the pitcher maybe a little father, he had trouble fielding the ball and catching it.

Now at the end of the season, his accuracy has improved (he can get the ball to the person he wants about 90% of the time), he is now hitting line-drives to the bases or grounders to the outfield, and he can field most ground balls hit his way and he can actually catch now (not all balls thrown to him but some).

I am proud that he works hard to learn the things enjoying.

As a mother I want to see him to know that his goals and dreams are achievable with hard work and dedication.

The way I teach this to my children is by example. I work hard toward every goal I set and never give up on my dreams. Are my dreams/goals the same as when I was a kid, no, but that is normal. But I want my kids to know that even though your dreams may change, you still work hard and you can achieve them.

House Hunting can be stressful. Don't Let it be. Some ways to make it less stressful are:

1) Ask your agent as many questions as you need. Your agent is there to help you, so if there is something you want to know ask. It is okay!

2) Take your time. Don't rush into such an important decision. This is an home, it is a huge investment. You should look and think about it, instead of just putting in an offer on the first thing you see.

3)You aren't going to win every offer and that is okay. Yes it can be upsetting but if you don't win that offer, it means it wasn't meant to be and your home is still waiting on you.

4)Don't settle on a House. House hunting can sometimes be a process but that doesn't mean you should settle because you could get something that ends up needing a lot of repairs and maintenance, or something that just doesn't make you happy down the road.

5)Sleep on a Decision. Don't rush into the decision of buying a home. Sleep on it, think on it, and way the pros and cons of that property. This is a huge investment and shouldn't be made on a whim.

6)Find Your Dream Home. Your Dream Home is out there. It may take some searching but it is out there and you will find it.

So 2 years ago asked me to join her in the Real Estate world. I spent a year praying, thinking, & debating and another year praying & studying. So I am very excited and proud to say that after 2 years I have finally entered the real estate game and am now a licensed agent in the New River Valley in Virginia. I can’t wait to see where this new path God has given me will take me and my family.
