Not a bad haul from my tiny garden! I expected much less since I got such a late start this season. Hoping the larger tomatoes for canning start ripening up before fall hits us soon. It sure is cooling down in Southwest Va!

Spent the day in Abingdon, Va near the Virginia Creeper Trail and South Holston River showing this country home on 10+ acres. This one is going up for auction ending Sept 8th and it’s a beauty!

Pictured below you’ll see the ridge where the Appalachian Trail is atop. Not pictured: Lou dog taking a dip in the South Holston. I’d say he put in a hard day’s work today.

Showed a pretty farm this morning! Beautiful and very accessible 93+ acres. The sights were gorgeous but I think my favorite part was the hand pump for the spring in the farmhouse. It’s a great spot for a root cellar and it’s easy access to drinkable water if the power goes out.
