I can appreciate when I get a client in my chair that makes my brain work. Although I love my everyday blondies, I think truthfully the BEST type of service is one that I actually have to think through and plan.

My client and I had a very in depth consultation about her hair- I knew what our goal was and also what we did not want! The overall goal was to break up the disconnect from root to ends. We also wanted to cover grey, and bring up the lightness but keep it on the darker side. I’ll call this one, a “triple process” if you will. Here’s my breakdown:

- 𝘎𝘙𝘌𝘠 𝘊𝘖𝘝𝘌𝘙, ok permanent root color dragged an inch down
- 𝘓𝘖𝘞𝘓𝘐𝘎𝘏𝘛𝘚, demi permanent to break up the solid disconnect
- 𝘍𝘈𝘊𝘌 𝘍𝘙𝘈𝘔𝘌 / pops of lightness, ok about 10-15 highlighted foils placed strategically to allow for better grow out but also not bringing it too light
- 𝘛𝘖𝘕𝘐𝘕𝘎, the goal is to stay warm but also appear light and bright but blended with the lowlight

This process start to finish was about 3.5 hours. I’m grateful to have put in the work this first session, so that future appointments will be much easier on her hair ( and her wallet ) 🤪🤎
