Linda Heath Clark’s collection can only be fully appreciated when you consider the unique process behind the creation of each. Linda begins on a foundation of clay coated board! She layers high flow acrylic in abstracted opaque shapes.  She then resorts to her extensive tool bag of sharpened objects; X-acto knives, scalpels, tattoo needles, steel wool etc and begins a reductive process of scratching and scraping away the layers of paint to reveal the gently textured clay.  She then washes over the scratches with more thin acrylic to enhance the image either in realistic or surrealist style!  Linda is educated both in art and biology, the understanding of each clearly informing her collection here at Fire and Rain gallery of nature scenes.  The depth achieved by her unique and laborious process invites the viewer to dive into her scenes and bask in the tranquility therein.  Come in today and add a little bit of piece to your personal collection!
