We bid a fond farewell as we announce the upcoming retirement of Doug Twyford, Vice President of Products and Customer Experience. Doug’s last work day will be March 14, 2024.

Doug has been an integral part of our company for the past 7 years. His contributions will always be valued and remembered especially the relationships he built with clients and employees. Doug will be greatly missed.

We wish Doug all the best in his much earned retirement.

Every now and then we revisit a signature installation - we were delighted with the superb refresh that this Minnesota hotel had gone through with their bar area. A 'before' image shows the original design, and two more images of the new contemporary look. It's a "Wow" from us ! Our Roll up custom coiling doors provide security and exquisite style to the back bar.

We manufacture accordion doors every day and we have a standard set of laminates and finishes. Every once in a while a customer requests something special, a custom pattern. Seen here are images this morning of a pair of large doors being hand cut to ensure pattern integrity when assembled.

Wow. We are adding alder - a very stable hardwood, grown locally and fully sustainable, to our roll up door range. Seen here is a door in 'paint / stain - ready' form. The advantages of alder is that is gives us a very consistent 'base surface ' to create consistent stains or paint finishes. It is also approximately 40% lighter than other hardwoods but just as durable.

Who else has someone retiring after 43 years of employment ? Ed has been 'our guy' making the crucial track and hinge components for our doors.
