Forney Boxing Club lost one of its own. Jojo was such a funny, talented young man, always willing to help others and we are truly heartbroken his life was cut way to short. If you can please donate, we as parents are never prepared for this kind of tragedy.

The Boxingfiit story
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Boxing has been a part of my life ever since I first walked in to the Longview Boxing Club as a teenager. Leading up to it, my father had enrolled me in martial arts; But nothing compared to the gritty hot summers of heavy bags and boxing gloves. The machine gun sounds of the speed bag thumping against its' wooden platform.
In my 20's I kept boxing a central focus to the development & maintenance of my own physical health and mental well being, and spread the knowledge of it how I could. I helped train other people during my time served in the US Navy by teaching the fundamentals of the sport but also combining it with the calisthenic drills popular in the military.
Flash-forward to my late 30's, I'm now a father of three young boys, and very active in the development of both adults and young people.
