✨MomCo is a non-profit organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.

✨MomCo Macon/Forsyth meets one Friday a month at New Providence Church for food, worship, and fellowship (through the months of August - May). Each month there are two special events - an event planned for just you mamas known as our Mom Night Out and an event for the KidCo to join known as our playdates. Speaking of KidCo, once you’ve registered with MomCo, your beautiful children are then registered for our free childcare known as KidCo. 😜🚸

✨Need community? Join MomCo. Need encouragement? Join MomCo. Need mom friends? Join MomCo. You can’t go wrong talking about Jesus while getting some much needed interaction with other wonderful mamas. 🙌🏻

What's the best thing about being a mom? Is it the sloppy kisses and the tight bear hugs that somehow make all the chaos fade away? Or maybe it's seeing the world through those sparkly little eyes, re-discovering the magic in the mundane together. 🍂✨

Every day may not be good, but there's something good in every day, right? Like finding that long-lost stuffie under the sofa or the giggles that fill the room during bath time. It's in those moments, amidst the toys scattered around and the endless piles of laundry, that we find our greatest joys and deepest connections.

So, let’s share and celebrate those unparalleled joys of motherhood that keep us going, that make all the sleepless nights and endless worries worth it. Because, at the end of the day, it's those little hands reaching for us, the "I love you, Mommy" that make all of the hard worth it.

Here’s to us, to the messy, beautiful, life-changing adventure that is motherhood. You are incredible, you are enough, and you are not alone on this journey.

The ride of your life…🫶🏼

Motherhood is by far the greatest adventure we will ever embark on. It's like being thrust into a wild roller coaster ride that's filled with soaring highs and terrifying drops - often within the same day (or hour!).

It's an expedition into the uncharted territory of dirty diapers, sleepless nights, and baby's first milestones that then twists into first days of school, driving lessons, and homework.

There is no map or compass, and just when you think you've figured out the route, your little explorer changes the course.

One thing's for sure though, despite all the challenges and detours, this is one journey we wouldn't trade for anything else in the world.

Because at the end of the day, when those little arms wrap around your neck, you know you've found the greatest treasure that makes the journey so worth it.

We know the struggles, the exhaustion, the silliness, and the JOY of motherhood. We also know that YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE. Join a MOPS group and find the village you've been looking for. Because motherhood is better when we say YES to doing life with other MOPS Mamas.💖

I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. —JEREMIAH 29:11

God whispers to me as I lie down for the night, Let me write this story. I’ve been wrestling with him for days. I don’t want to get ahead of him but he is leaving me no choice. Everything seems unclear and so I want to slyly and subtly take some control. I doubt he’ll even notice. He might even bless my efforts, right?

But I can feel the dis-ease in my spirit. The nudge that says, Don’t do it. It’s not worth it. It won’t produce what you really want. And yet I don’t know how to tolerate the churning inside of me.

I have so many questions about my future. And I told God in church a couple days ago that if he wants me to keep my grabby hands off my own life then he is going to have to help me tolerate the runaway train that is my mind, the swirling and solving I can’t control in my own strength. Is there a story in your life that you are trying to write? You are trying to turn the narrative or resolve the plot? You are trying to control the characters or manipulate the setting?

Is there a story in your life that you’d like to author, and God is asking you—gently, quietly—for that role? I want to take control of certain areas of my life, create opportunities, wedge my will into the unfolding. God will let me do it. I have free will. He will let me choke and manhandle my life.

But as I put my head down on my pillow last night, he whispered, Let me write this story. And I knew, immediately, that this was the better way. The narrow way, the trusting way, the surrendered way, the way of relinquishment, to be sure. But also, the better way.

Some—not all—of the churning quieted. Perspective returned. Sometimes God is asking us to move, move, move. But most often, for me anyway, God is saying, Breathe, breathe, breathe. Let me write this story. (I promise it will turn out better than you can imagine.)
