We are already preparing for the 🎄Forsyth❤️Christmas💚Parade🎉!!! And a BIG part of that is collecting enough 🍬🍭CaNdY🍫🍭 to give out to the HUNDREDS of children along the parade route!!

One of our dreams came true last week!! 🙌 We now have an official CHILDCARE ROOM!!
This is a game-changer!
Women are often discouraged to visit the Center because it is incredibly difficult to focus and engage when you have small children with you. But now women with children will be ENCOURAGED to come be mentored, take classes, and hear the Good News as their children are being well-cared for in the next room! 💗

WE NEED FIRST TRIMESTER MOMMAS to come get a free ultrasound!

Sadly, our beloved nurse Jessica will be moving out of the country in August to complete her next step toward becoming a foreign missionary. Jessica established our ultrasound ministry over the last two years, and she has set the standard high for all our medical staff.
With that said, the Board of Directors has officially named our next Sonographer who will be taking over for Jessica. Meet Kandi Shurley. Kandi has been a Sonographer for 18 years and is a follower of Jesus Christ. 🤍
We are seeking 32 women in their first trimester for Kandi to administer ultrasounds the week of June 24-28. Each and every ultrasound will be supervised by our RDMS who will be testing Kandi for competency at the end of the week.
There are morning AND afternoon time slots available.

This past Tuesday, we began having our patients fill out Exit Surveys, and the first two are in!
We 💜 our nurses and staff!

Happy Mother’s Day!!
Would you consider honoring local moms and children by making a small donation to help keep The Pregnancy & Family Life Center funded for another year?
And in case you aren’t really familiar with what we do here:
We empower women to choose life in several ways…
1) Our medical staff helps local women connect with their unborn children by offering free ultrasounds 3 days every week. We also provide free prenatal vitamins.
2) Our boutique provides all the diapers, wipes, clothing, car seats, cribs, breast pumps, and everything else that they need.
3) Our advocates mentor our clients daily through hour-long sessions where they can simply talk about what’s going on in their lives, receive emotional support & advice, and watch 30-minute videos on specific topics, such as labor & delivery, parenting, life skills, and healing. Those mentoring relationships carry on for as long as the client desires, and oftentimes our clients will continue to come in for years after their child is born.
4) Our group classes and social events help clients connect and build friendships with one another. We recently did a weekly cooking class where we learned to cook meals together, studied the women of the Bible while we ate, and then were taught practical skills such as budgeting, meal planning, and time management. And we are having a couple parties this Summer, including a pool party!
WE HAVE BEEN AMAZED at both the volume and the diversity of the clients we have been seeing. In our first 12 weeks of becoming a medical facility, we have already administered 110 ultrasounds. Our new clients include: teenagers, women in their 40’s, women below the poverty line, and women who live in River Forest. And everyone in between.
Of course, everything we do here is ultimately a means to sharing the Gospel. Because, at the end of the day, we know that everyone’s greatest need is for a Savior and Lord.
🤍🤍A few weeks ago a client said to me, “This place is so…lovely.” And then a couple days ago another client said, “I just love this place so much.”
We are a bunch of women loving God and loving other women who have experienced unplanned pregnancies, and we are here for the long-haul.🤍🤍

You probably know that Georgia law bans most abortions once a “detectable human heartbeat” is present, and cardiac activity can be detected by ultrasound as early as six weeks into a pregnancy. But you may not have known that, as a result, we are seeing a lot of women who are only 4 or 5 weeks pregnant and trying to make a rushed decision. Sadly, ultrasounds are not able to show very much detail at 4-5 weeks. Therefore, it has become our great desire to have a good-quality, anatomically-correct set of fetal models (that which you might find at an OB office) to show these patients in wonderful detail what the little life within them looks like at only 4, 5, 6 weeks (and beyond!)
Now because these sets are costly, we actually spent over a month seeking confirmation that this was a genuine "need" and worthy of donor money. We also tried to choose just the right set, taking into consideration price, quality, and detail.

Our 2nd Annual Clay-Shoot Tournament Fundraiser is in the books! 47 men (and 1 incredible young lady 💪) showed up to support The Pregnancy and Family Life Center - PFLC last Saturday, and we are so grateful! Already looking forward to next year!!
**And a special shout-out to Craig Craddock and the Chick-fil-A on Zebulon for providing lunch for all the participants 💛 Chick-fil-A isn't only delicious, it supports our community...so eat more chicken!**

It is a BEAUTIFUL day to celebrate life 🤍, care for Middle Georgia families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, and share the Good News of the Gospel 🙌!
We have been offering free ultrasounds for about a month now and (with NO advertising yet) have already served about 50 women from Monroe Co, Bibb Co, Lamar Co, and Bartow Co! 🤯
The harvest is plentiful, and we have a lot of work to do!
With that being said, our cost to operate has increased due to paying a Nurse Manager and staying stocked up in medical supplies.
Of course we will do fundraising events, speaking engagements, etc. as needed to keep this ministry going, but we are also asking the community to simply go to our webpage and setup a monthly donation of $5, $10, or $15 so that we can focus more on serving the great number of clients we are seeing and less on worrying about fundraising campaigns.

As we continue to grow and grow 🙌, we want to be diligent in protecting our ministry. We want to steward well the funds that this community blesses us with. The fact is, not everyone is pro-life, and abortion advocates seek to legally disrupt and eliminate pregnancy centers all over the country. With that said, we are honored to announce our newest Board member, Mrs. Morgan Thomas, J.D. Mrs. Thomas has her professional graduate degree in Law. While Mrs. Thomas is not officially acting as our attorney, her legal knowledge will help guide us in our decision making to help us stay protected. Welcome, Mrs. Thomas!
