Epoch Massage is hiring for a Part Time Licensed or Certified Massage Therapist. We are specifically looking for someone who has certifications or experience with neuromuscular massage, sports massage, deep tissue, cupping and similar modalities. We pay between $20-$40/hour depending on experience and if the client is full pay or discounted. This is the perfect position for someone looking to grow their clientele but doesn't need a full schedule at the present time. We want you to retain clients and make them "yours" so our goal is to help you get as busy as you want. Hours available are Tuesdays from 3-7pm, Thursday mornings from 9-1:00pm, Saturdays from 9-12, and Sundays any time. Please include cover letter and resume with application! We have some updates

Dear Epoch family,

We want to take the time to update you on some important details about Epoch's COVID 19 procedures. Thank you for being a part of our wellness family!

• Larimer County has issued a return to the "safer at home level 2." While this does not affect our business directly (thankfully!) we want to take precautions to ensure the safety of all clients and staff.

• Epoch will be continuing to clean between clients to provide you the safest space available. Please be patient with us as this may take a little longer than normal.

• Both John and Sarah will be checking clients out in their treatment rooms after sessions to keep the lobby clear and encourage as little contact as possible in the shared spaces. Please remain in your room after your session and just open the door when you are finished dressing and we will come in to check you out and get follow up appointments made.

• The probability of either John or Sarah getting a virus of some kind (cold, flu etc.) over the winter is almost certain. In this case we want you to know that we will be switching your appointment over to the healthy therapist so that you aren't missing out on needed bodywork. Both therapists are well trained and can provide you with an excellent session until you are able to return to your regular therapist. We will be getting tested for COVID asap and will be following all protocols and guidelines as far as returning to work. Your health and wellness is our #1 priority!

• We are encouraging ALL clients to begin taking zinc and vitamin D to boost immunity and protect against illness. We have many amazing supplements and herbal supports available through Shaklee, Fort Collins Family Acupuncture, and Rocky Mountain Natural Medicine. Please don't hesitate to ask about which supplements will be right for you during these winter months.

We are happy to announce that we have a new therapist to join our team!
John has been in the massage field for 11 years. He is originally from Scranton Pennsylvania (yes, like the Office T.V. show) and his massage background is focused on medical massage. He has worked in chiropractic offices, as well as other locations and feels that massage can be a very helpful addition to a lot of other therapies. He has a passion for not only helping some feel better physically but also mentally. He knows that sometimes a client just needs a willing ear to listen while getting a physical "knot" worked out. He has experience in Gua Sha, Cupping, warm Bamboo, Deep Tissue, Trigger point, and of course Swedish modalities. When he doesn't have someone on his table, he enjoys all the amazing restaurants, breweries and hiking trails that Colorado has to offer.

John is offering 1 hour massage sessions at $10 off through September! He would especially like to offer his services to teachers, mental health workers, and any on else whose job is very stressful.

We get a lot of questions as to how we chose the name Epoch. (pronounced Epic). Epoch means a particular period of time in history or a person's life, usually something very influential or amazing- for example it could be used to say "The Civil War era was an epoch in 19th-century U.S. history."
We hope that coming to us and feeling pain free will be an epoch in your life- a defining moment where you choose health daily. We are proud to be a part of each person's amazing journey and each of you has influenced our epoch as well! Happy Friday!
