Plant seeds in your life. Water them, Bask in the Sun, Tend to them with love ❤️, and they will grow.
After all these years we are still on the same wave 🌊
Blue Health means that being close to or in water is good for our health. Studies are finding that spending time near water, like at a lake, river, ocean, or pool, helps our mind and body.
Just another reason we love wave pools.

Who brought you joy today?
In between heightend emotions and sick kiddos my doggy learned a new trick!
He learned the word “place.”
One day he will come to sessions with me!
But for now he is snuggled up on my feet 👣
12 years ago, I felt lost.
My health was a mess.
Then, a friend recommended acupuncture. I thought it was weird, more like I thought it was Voodoo.
But it changed my life. Now, I’m an acupuncturist, helping others find their way through tough times.
I want you to know: no matter where you are, believe in your body’s magic to heal itself . You’re going to make it ❤️🩹

☘️I feel honored to have such wonderful clients. Thank you so much for the kind words🙏 I am happy to be of service.
✨Yesterday I had the honor of treating three small humans at a home visit. I was there for about an hour and half. All of us had the chance to really settle in. Naps happened and belly aches transformed into raiding the snack cabinet. Thank you so much🙏

In our fast-moving world, the ancient wisdom of taking it slow has never been more relevant. As an acupuncturist, I've seen firsthand the power of pausing and connecting deeply with ourselves amidst life's whirlwind. This practice isn't just self-care—it's a profound act of balance in our speed-obsessed society.
How do you embrace the slow moments to maintain balance? Let's share and inspire each other.
When life seems complicated, keep it simple🌱
I made it into a picture! Last weekend I returned to ShinKyu University for an in person workshop on Palpation (touch) based Hara Diagnosis. I brought my notebook from the first time I met Maya in 2021. I took a different approach this time it wasn’t about how much information could I write down, but how much could I feel👐 When I reminded my Mind that it is unreasonable for me to feel as much as Maya, I was amazed at how much more I can feel then in 2021. Keep practicing everyone! take
🌟 "The Unseen Heroes of Acupuncture!" 🌟
Hey everyone! It's Maya here from ShinKyu University. Let's talk about something that's not exactly the 'rockstar' of Traditional Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion, but definitely deserves the spotlight - the Foundations! 😊
You know, foundations in TJM are like that quiet kid in class who knows all the answers but never raises their hand. They’re not the flashiest, but oh boy, are they powerful! They're the unsung heroes in our practice. 🦸♂️🦸♀️
Now, I know studying foundations might sound as exciting as watching paint dry, but hear me out. They might not have the glitz and glam of advanced techniques, but they are the solid ground upon which all those flashy moves stand. They might not make you say "Wow!" but they'll definitely make your patients say "Ahh, that's better!" 😌
Foundations require your time and energy, but in return, they fill you up with inspiration and results that speak for themselves. It's like investing in a good pair of shoes – not super exciting, but your feet (and back) will thank you for years to come!
So, are you ready to dive deep and truly master the art of TJM? Let's chat and set up an interview for ShinKyu University. Remember, great things start with solid foundations. Let's build something amazing together!

Let's make foundations the new cool! 😎🌿
In Traditional Japanese Medicine we sense with our hands points that are full and need to be dispersed and points that are empty and need to be filled. To disperse our mantra is ‘Shallow, Quick, and Many’. This technique feels like a percussive massage with pleasant pricking sensation. It smooths the skin, clears heat, and softens tight paraspinal muscles.
They say if it works on kids and dogs, it works! 🐾🦴🦮

🥹When a long lost Brother sends you an epic quote Read it!!! And then Ask ChatGBT to generate and image. ⏰
"You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are things to be considered . . .
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader."
Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, "This could be a good time!"
"There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly.
"Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, Least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
"The time for the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from you attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
"We are the ones we've been waiting for."

As I journey deeper into the art of acupuncture and moxabustion, I am grateful for the guidance and wisdom shared by my mentor, Maya Suzuki, the nurturing environment of ShinKyu University, and the privilege of practicing Traditional Japanese Medicine (TJM). As I embrace the second year of mentoring and delve deeper into the Iyashi No Michi Kata, my heart is full of appreciation for the tradition, the learning, and the opportunity to grow in this ancient practice. Thank you for being beacons of light on my path.🌟
If you happen to be one of those practitioners that Is TJM curious there is still room in the Palpation and Hara Diagnosis via the Iyashi No Michi Kata 2/24-2/25. I will be driving down from Fort Collins’s both days and would love to bring you along! Link is in the comments.
