HOW SOCIAL MEDIA CAN BE USED FOR GOOD. This tragedy, however awful, captivated the nation.
In our divided times, it’s encouraging to see people band together to help families search for missing persons. Now that TikTok and other social media have shown their usefulness in this endeavor by happenstance, let’s make a concerted effort to harness this technology to assist others in finding their loved ones, and getting answers.

As a social media manager, as soon as I noticed Facebook was down, I went over to Instagram, and IT WAS DOWN TOO! I guess it was a snow day for SMMs.😂
I spent the day just creating images and messing around. It was nice.😋

This is something that I cannot stress enough…
PROOFREAD BEFORE POSTING.

I don’t care how smart you are or how knowledgeable you are in your field. If you have misspelled words or poor grammar in your posts, people will automatically dismiss your message.
Let me repeat that.
PEOPLE. WILL. DISMISS. YOUR. MESSAGE.

Something as simple as a misspelled word can completely compromise your credibility.

Look, we’ve all done it. I’ve done it. It’s easy to do, especially now in the days of autocorrect. However, it is so important to minimize mistakes when posting to social media.

If you see a mistake on a fellow social media manager’s post, it is totally acceptable to reach out to them *privately* to let them know. I promise you, they will appreciate the heads up.

Alternatively, if you as an audience member see a mistake on a business’s post, know that it does not mean that they are unintelligent or substandard in their field.
They just forgot to proofread!

I need your advice, friends. I want to redo my logo, because the first one I had was created in a hurry and never revisited. I wanted to create a logo that is meaningful to me and represents the values of my company.

Why I chose this type of logo and what it means to me:
• COLOR: All of the colors represent the different people and personalities that make up our world. They are more beautiful when they work together, which is why I wanted a color spectrum in my logo.
• THE SHAPES: Each dot represents a person, and the people they are connected to, joining with other people and their connections. Working together to create a more beautiful world.
• THE LAYOUT: The circle created with dots reaching outward represents the message. Our messages start with us and grow as we share them with our loved ones and their loved ones. A small voice can become a big voice by being courageous enough to share with others.

Please help me chose! Which one speaks to you and do you feel best represents what I’m trying to convey?
