You guys, I’m exhausted. Please understand I’m doing my best to please everyone but my kids and my mental health will always come first. I never want to miss or reschedule your appointment because number one obviously that’s how I pay my bills, number two I’m a people pleaser. But during med changes and other life events things get a little chaotic. That’s why I run the business I do so I have control over situations. So is I’m home sick, respect the fact that I’m not coming in and I’m willing to go beyond my normal hours to fit you in. Please don’t send me 5 messages asking about rescheduling in 5 hours. 🙄. I’m trying my best right note to not lose my s**t completely and go off the deep end any further then I am already. I’m seeking help, doing what I can do in the moment to better myself. Please don’t push me more.

Tonight felt so much better! Thank you to everyone who came out tonight and supported me. This is definitely pushing limits but I’m loving it! I’ve had so many comments on my crying on stage…. 🤷‍♀️😭 trauma working for me. 3 more shows to go!

I want to thank everyone who came out to opening night, it definitely was amazing so see so many people in the crowd. I know what I screwed up and it had me in my head but I pushed through and made it work the best I could. That’s live theatre for ya 🎭😬 I hope if you came Wednesday that you come again Saturday because I know by then I’ll have this up on a level of confidence I didn’t have tonight. I want to thank everyone for the flowers and kind words, I truly and blessed to be surrounded with them support system I have.

To be fair, Alyssa pulled the last part out of my foot for me. I got it past the bend 🤢 So today I got a tetanus shot 🤦‍♀️☠️ I was at rehearsal actually doing what I should have been doing! This was painted in to the floor. It feels like I’m stepping on a lego every time I step on my foot. It’s a great day guys 😖😜

NOTICE! I have changed online booking over to summer schedule. I’m about three weeks out right now to get in so it lines up with school getting out for summer. I will do my best to fit people in. If you have a friend you want to book with I can do that as well to get both done at the same time but I don’t double up appointments not booked together. Remember I’m a single mom with 3 kids. Softball, track, baseball, plays and musicals all squeezing in to the next few months. I appreciate your continued support and patience as I navigate self employment!

I have a daughter in Traveling Softball, school track, school softball, a Hawkeye play I’m currently trying to learn 40 plus pages of dialogue for since it’s a one woman show staring yours truly, also starting to play stuff for the summer stage door show at ICCC, possibly get my taxes done 😂 Owen will be starting baseball soon, and be a good mom and semi decent human being. Trying some hair strokes and warming up the old ashy brows! We have to do a little more lifting under the one brow to get them to match more but over all I’m happy with the process. The hair strokes double in size when fully healed so I space them out until the touch up. It’s crazy what 45 minutes can do ❤️

After dropping Charlotte off at the parking lot for her DC and NY trip my body decided it hated me. In the 8 minutes it takes to drive home I pulled over twice to get sick. Then spent 3 hours on the bathroom floor. Woke up now to realize I canceled the wrong day of appointments 🫤 This is going to be a great day.

Sometimes this job can bring out the worst in people, but most of the time it’s messages like this that keep me off OF 😂🤡☠️ The service industry is cut throat sometimes with new/old stylists (myself included) getting caught up in our own insecurity and we say things about how someone else has done things. Truth is we all have been taught differently, we all have different products that act differently, we all have different life experiences that have taught to do or not to do something. The way we approach things can affect our outcomes but at the end of the appointment if the customer is happy that’s what matters. I work with 4 other ladies in the salon and we know we can go to each other for advice anytime. This is your Tuesday reminder to be kind to yourself for mistakes you have made but kinder to others that are also learning that don’t have a chance to defend what or why they did it a certain way. Well I have a sprained wrist, I’m not taking anymore clients for a few weeks. I’ll try to get through what’s on my books the best I can. Good news is there’s always a silver lining to every situation and I understand this one. Thank you all again for being understanding of my situation. Your business and friendship is important to me and my family.

Sometimes I lose myself in work and forget to take photos. Here’s a few times I didn’t completely forget! Shout out to everyone who trust me with hair and brows. I forget this is work.

Color fix, the joy of getting red out. It’s a great first step. Prep with K18. Olaplex in the lightner to help strengthen the hair while we lifted. No new damage! Perfect color shift.
