Temperatures and humidity levels are on the rise and your AC is going to get a workout. Here are a few tips to keep your system running efficiently through the heat waves.

1. Install a clean air filter. Your AC will need all the breathing capacity it can get.

2. Leave your thermostat at one setting. During heat waves, if you turn the thermostat up or even off entirely, it could take your AC a full day to catch up.

3. Set your thermostat fan function to “ON” rather than “Auto”. Running the fan 24/7 will help create a more uniform temperature throughout your home.
