Cp3 - First Day Out Official Music Video 06/05/2021

USA v. R.B.
This week, Omar Johansson succeeded in a low prison sentence for a defendant within this music video, "First Day Out," that has nearly half a million hits. Omar Johansson passionately argued for a client facing 10 years before a long standing, extremely conservative, federal Judge. Omar Johansson argued the truth: that the client never brought any firearm to the scene and went to this music video with absolutely no intention of committing any crime. Despite the client unlawfully possessing a firearm in the music video, Omar Johansson was able to paint the true portrait of the client: a very young man who had the intention of furthering his music career. The client made an extremely admirable decision of moving forward with a plea and not taking this case to trial. The client will be home in 3 and a half years.

USA versus CS
One of Omar Johansson's clients will be home for Christmas because Attorney Johansson beat a 5-year minimum mandatory. Our client ran near 700 pounds of ma*****na from Jamaica to the Bahamas, and was stopped and arrested by the United States Coast Guard. The government argued our client was the captain of the vessel. Attorney Johansson made legal objections to this finding and won, even though coast guards photographed our client at the helm, steering the vessel. Client was facing up to 57 months. Attorney Johansson convinced the Court to sentence to 12 months and 1 day with credit time served. The client will be back home with his family and friends for the holidays and new year.

USA versus SF

Absolutely EPIC argument and win last week in Federal Court for a dearly loved client. Omar Johansson's client was charged under 21 U.S.C. § 952 for the importation of 6,000+ ecstasy pills. The client was facing a statutory maximum of 20 years, with a guideline range of 72-96 months in prison, mandatory 3 years supervised release and up to a $1 million fine.

Omar Johansson's zealous advocacy and compelling arguments assisted in an ultimate sentence of 36 months in prison. This is an absolute win for a client who made mistakes but has an amazing heart and family and friends who love him dearly. We are all thankful that he'll be home in 2 years.
