When you're serving Luau themed bites on a sunny 80 degree day in Portland, on the deck of a $5 million dollar house, you say THANK YOU! We're so grateful for our long-term client for always trusting us to provide the luxury his properties deserve.

The final count.. 393 plates served! We'll call that a successful 1st Annual Kitchen Killa Community Cookout!! I'm beyond proud of the team we assembled to create such a love-filled day! The sun shined, folks showed up and our volunteers came with most amazing energy to serve and love on the community. Of those 393, we fed teachers and students from the surrounding elementary, middle and high schools, folks who represented 10 Portland vip codes and a nearby group home in the St. Johns neighborhood. That DOESN'T include all the extra food we sent over to Feed The Mass!

At my Kitchen Takeover of the I got to introduce Portland to a Bahamian delicacy: CONCH! Much of the room had never heard of it, furthermore tasted it. We presented in the best way possible, as a fresh Conch Salad and deliciously fluffy Conch Fritters with a Mango Chutney.

Shout out to incredible purveyors who take such great care shipping ingredients across the country so everyone could experience the greatness of Floribbean Cuisine.
