She earned her medical doctorate at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. In medical school, Dr. Guevara was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society as well as the prestigious Gold Humanism Honor Society. She is experienced in laser-assisted cataract surgery, the implantation of Toric and multifocal intraocular lenses, and corneal transplantation. Todays eyeglass exams and distribution helped 25 very appreciative guests. Dr Lang has become a local rockstar among the homeless community.

Lauderdale Eye Specialists is pleased to welcome Phillip A. Tenzel, M.D. to our practice! Dr. Tenzel is a third-generation ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastics, orbital surgery, and oculofacial cosmetic surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and then completed his intern year at JFK Hospital/Palm Beach Regional Campus of University of Miami. His training continued in New York City at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he completed his ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in Adult Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology. Dr. Tenzel then received advanced training in oculoplastics, orbital surgery, and periocular reconstructive and cosmetic surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
