SECURE Window Solutions is hiring. Looking for office help. Multiple positions available.

- Must have reliable transportation. This does not mean your friend has a reliable vehicle and promises to drop you off and pick you up everyday. This does not mean you have a bicycle, but if it’s raining or too cold then you wont be able to ride it. This means that you, personally, have a valid way of getting to work everyday that cannot be influenced by someone else’s schedule or by the weather.

- must have strong computer skills. This does not mean that you used to play Oregon Trail or Mind Sweeper. If the last time you went online , you heard a phone dialing and a fax machine answering, then you do not have strong computer skills. This means that you excel at Excel and your wording in Word is strong.

- must have STRONG time management skills. Early is on time. On time is late. And late; well late is unacceptable. There are very few legitimate reasons to be late. Being late because you have a flat tire is ok, but only once or twice year. Unless you have to drive through a junk yard to get to your house, then having a nail in your tire once a week is just not possible. Being late because you were stuck at a train is not ok. Unless that train track was not there on your way home from work and while you were sleeping that night, the city built a functioning train tack that happened to intersect one of the roads in which you use to get to work, then being stuck at a train is not a reason to be late. Being late because you had to slow down for school zones is not acceptable. And no, I will not pay for your speeding ticket because you didn’t have time to slow down in the schools zone or you were going to be late.

- must be able to take notes while being trained. This includes writing down notes while the person training you is explaining your day to day activities. Asking questions is encouraged, but not when we just went over it and i asked you if you wanted to make notes and said you don’t need to because you have a strong memory. I promise you, your memory is not as strong a pen and paper.

- must be willing to take direction and criticism. Yes, we are all equal and we all deserve to be treated with respect. However, remember this before you apply for the job. I did not come and find you and force you to work here. You will be coming to us seeking employment. So there will always be you, the employee, and someone else, who is your employer. It is good practice not to scream, roll your eyes or avoid making eye contact with your employer while they are talking to you. If feel these request are not fair or somehow belittling, then this is not the right job for you.

- earning your pay is a requirement. If you believe that because you went to college or because you saw someone talking on a Facebook reel about how working your way to the top is a thing of the past, then please feel free to look elsewhere for a job. If making less than the owner of the company seems unfair, then become the owner of your own company.

Update - last time I posted this we were able to hire someone from this post who still works with us. The power is social media is strong and useful when you used for positive gain.
