Our Story

Carpenter/Artist: Rickey L. Clark has been working in the woodworking trades for many years.
When he was 3 years old he nailed two pieces of wood together and was playing with his new “airplane” when his mother said “Look Tom, he’s going to be a carpenter”. Through school he would attend any and every art class available, receiving praise and complements from teachers and fellow students. At an early age, he would challenge himself by making the smallest paper boxes possible using a razor knife, a magnifying glass and glue. He would often get himself into trouble for taking his fathers’ tools and build things in the woods.
During his tour of duty in the Air Force he worked part time in a cabinet shop, and a wooden toy shop. At the end of his Air Force career ended he worked in new home construction, cabinets, and furniture.
Now, after 35 years of experience, Rickey L. Clark, Carpenter/Artist is in Casselberry, Florida producing high quality furniture, cabinets, woodturnings, and construction projects. The shop is continuously putting out new products, and taking on new projects.
The cabinets produced in the Carpenters Art shop are all custom made. Rickey comes to your sight personally and measures your rooms, discusses your needs and produces drawings for your approval.
Furniture pieces built in the Carpenters Art shop are made to meet your needs and desires. All the pieces are made to your specifications.
The turnings are all pieces of art; Functional art. Pepper mills, jewelry, pens, bottle stoppers, made in the Carpenters Art shop are all one of a kind, hand turned individually by Rickey L. Clark. You can be sure that any of the artwork you purchase is a One of a Kind.
The construction projects taken on by Rickey L. Clark are all given the same attention that any of the shop projects get. There are hundreds if not thousands of buildings in central Florida that were framed, trimmed, or have custom cabinets built by Rickey L. Clark. He has supervised, and built new houses, remodel projects, and commercial projects. There is a good possibility that you have been in a building displaying some of the work produced by Rickey L. Clark, The Carpenter/Artist.
