Jamaica, and especially Treasure Beach, has a special place in our hearts. In the past, we have brought donations, such as books, feminine products, and care packages, to St. Elizabeth. Hurricane Beryl hit the region hard, and help is needed now more than ever! With funds donated, we can clean up roads and deliver basic items such as water and temporary shelter. If you have anything to donate from the Carolinas, message us so we can arrange for pick up before shipping this week. Next Friday (7/5) we start our travels to eSwatini to love on the 🔹186 🔹children served at the Mahangeni Carepoint. We want to provide each child with a NEW backpack. Many of these children walk 5+ miles a day to go back/forth to school.

Welcome back to our fabulous Sequoya! She is a talented, passionate baker and owner of The Dough Girl. Her story is one of strength and redemption. Reminding me of God’s promise in Isaiah 61:3, “the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” Sequoya shared her experience with Postpartum Depression and how baking became a love language of healing. The Dough Girl is currently taking orders for Valentine’s Day. The best way to place an order is by text or Instagram

Looking for unicorns 💫

Did you know that our family is one of only a handful of foster families in South Carolina that foster ONLY TEEN BOYS?

No babies.
No toddlers.
No girls.
Really no one that requires a booster seat 😂
Only teen boys (with an occasional 7/8 yr old sibling with an older brother).
We are like unicorns in the foster care world.
Few and far between but here we are taking in all the kids that are often overlooked.

Oh and did I mention kiddo #18 is here tonight?
A little over 2 years and we’ve had 18 teen boys roll through here.
People are always taken back by that number and I totally get it.
It’s a lot.
But what’s one more to get to know and plant the seed of Jesus!

From last years contributions, Shine On Outreach gave over 300 purses to local and international vulnerable communities. The purses contained feminine products and comfort items. Around 250 message bags were given to homeless in the Carolinas. These bags had hand warmers, sanitary supplies, socks, gloves, and an encouraging note. They also had non perishable foods and drink. Shine On Outreach also bought clothing and items for children in foster care and for vulnerable adults in transition.
