One thing I love about this business is that I can often connect with two people at once. Someone messages to order a gift for a friend. I can usually tell so much from the person ordering the gift and often times, they share things about the recipient, to help give me design ideas. Sometimes what’s shared is hardship. The person ordering reminds me the importance of compassion and empathy. The importance of friendship. The person the gift is for reminds me to always be kind because you never know what someone is going through. My reminder to try to always leave people better than I found them.
