Ready for your home?❤️🐶❤️

Delaney is new to the rescue and will just steal your heart immediately! Delaney is a 4 year old lab mix who had to be surrendered when the landlord said no more pets were allowed in the home. Delaney has amazing manners, knows lots of tricks, is an amazing leash walker, and great with kids, cats, and dogs! So she’s pretty much an A+ dog! Call us to meet sweet Delaney! 803-802-0902

Ann works so hard outside triaging clothes for our shop. She was very excited today when’s Paws decided to help! Well I guess she was just looking for a cozy place to take a nap. 2 cuties for sure.

Mary B was walking up to the shop and saw these two lounging on my car. I think they figured it was drier than laying on the wet ground after all the rain we had, or maybe they just knew they were picture perfect.

Q: What is TNR?

Here is a quick breakdown of TNR - Trap/Neuter/Return.

Many people aren’t aware of what is involved in the TNR process.

TNR helps free-roaming, stray/feral community cats receive vet care. If you are feeding a community cat, make sure to TNR immediately so more cats aren't born outside.

To learn more about TNR, please see this link ... https://www.friendsofferalfelines.org/how-to-tnr

Great post from Forgotten Cats about an ear-tip for Feline Fact Friday ...

Ear-tipping is the universal sign that a free-roaming cat (also known as a feral or community cat) has been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. “Tipping” a cat involves surgically removing a small portion of one of the cat's ears (usually the left). Ear-tips are visible from a distance, making it easy for cat rescuers to identify which cats need to be sterilized.

Ear-tipping does not hurt the cats. The procedure is performed under sterile conditions while the cat is already under anesthesia and pain medication for spay or neuter surgery. It’s involves little to no bleeding and does not significantly alter the cat's appearance. No other means of identification has proven as safe or effective.

And remember, an ear-tip is a badge of honor! It means someone cares! ❤️

So today while we were triaging donations outside these 2 were just chillaxing in front of the radio listening to classic rock. And as Mary Beth and I were leaving the shop today Paws and Dexter let us know they were on security guard duty and we were free to go home ❤️🐈‍⬛❤️🐈‍⬛
