Yes we are open today. However,
us mail and ups services are not running. FedEx is operating under normal hours.
The Postal Route will be closed Dec 25th and Jan 1 in observance of the holidays.
Media Mail can contain only Media Mail. It cannot contain a hand written note, a greeting card, or even gift wrap. Additionally, magazines with advertising do not qualify as Media Mail. Media Mail is non-profit shipping subsidized by book manufactures and various organizations promoting literacy which is the reason it is so inexpensive.
Beginning July 9, Stamps are going up to 66 cents as are most associated products for letters including certified and international stamp rates.
Additionally, First Class Package Service, USPS Retail Ground, and Parcel Select Ground are going away and being replaced with USPS Ground Advantage.

PASSPORTS in York County, SC are processed by the Clerk of Court ONLY. Passports in Mecklenburg County, NC are processed by appointment only at select Post Offices. CLICK HERE to view a list of Post Offices available and to download free application forms. Printer not working? The Postal Route now offers passport packets containing detailed instructions and forms for just $4.95. While we can assist you with mailing your renewal passport documents, The Postal Route is not an authorized passport agent and cannot process new applications. Passport photos can be taken at The Postal Route - no appointment needed for $18.

Effective Dec 1st all delivery and money back guarantees by all carriers (usps, fedex, ups) will not be honored until sometime after the holidays. Mail early!!!
If you plan on sending packages through the U.S. Postal Service this holiday season, prepare to pay a bit more in postage. The temporary rates will go into effect on Oct. 2 and run until Jan. 22, 2023. No doubt all the other carriers will do something similar. Ship early!

UPS Service Guarantee
Update: Effective October 18, 2021 and until further notice, UPS is making the following operational adjustments: Delivery commitment times for UPS Next Day Air® destined to residential locations with a typical delivery time of 10:30 AM will be extended to 12:00 PM. Any applicable Service Guarantee with respect to these packages will be based on these revised delivery commitment times. 2-day air and ground do not offer guarantees at this time.
FEDEX Service Guarantee
Currently, service guarantees are only for overnight packages. 2-day and 3-day Air and Ground services do not offer money back guarantees at this time if their commitment date is missed.
As of November 1st, FedEx will suspend money back guarantees on ALL packages until the end of the holiday season.
USPS (US Mail)
No money back guarantees are offered.
