I’ve been using Monat since January 2022. Prior to being hospitalized in May 2021, I had long, but thin hair. I had thin hair for as long as I can remember, so naturally, I just assumed my hair type was “thin” and I just had to suck it up and just realize that I would never have thick gorgeous hair.

At one point, I went to a high-end salon for some very pricey hair extensions. My stylist did a breakage test to see if my hair could hold the weight of the extensions. It failed. Bad. I was so frustrated with my thin and lifeless hair. I was probably the one to blame because I did enjoy changing up my hair color any time I got bored, which was often.

When I became very sick and was on a ventilator, I had lost all my long thin hair. It came out in clumps in my hands. I decided that I wouldn’t complain about my hair being thin ever again!

When I got out of the hospital the end of 2021, I met an amazing Monat Shampoo Dealer who insisted that I try Monat Black Shampoo + Conditioner, the Intense Repait Treatment leave-in conditioner, followed by a touch of Rejuvenique Light Oil on the ends.

These photos don’t even do Justice, as my little ponytail has now become a huge handful of thick and strong hair. I no longer shed and my hair is the strongest it’s ever been. I feel like I finally made my hair happy.

Great Patina on this Heirberto (or Alfonso) Ceramic Candleholder (Arbol de la Vida), circa 1950-60’s. In good vintage condition for its age.

The Castillo Family is legendary in Mexican Folk Art. Winning numerous awards over the decades. Most

Likely Alfinso’s hand though could be Heirberto who was Alfonso’s older brother. Both deceased now.

Vintage Mexico tree of life candle holder. These were made to celebrate holidays. birthdays, communions, etc. They were used in churches and they were frequently given to newlyweds to bring them good luck, children and plentiful harvests.

The pottery candelabra is made from hand formed clay coils and then decorated with clay flowers & birds. This piece has been whitewashed and then decorated with brightly colored paints.

Condition: This piece was previously used and appears to possibly have had the paint touched up at some point. I do not see any breaks or cracks in the body.
