Today, the 4th of July, marks the 241st anniversary of America's freedom from Great Britain. 13 rebellious colonies fought against "taxation without representation" with a formal declaration of freedom on July 2nd, 1776. Our Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence on July 4th. A big FU to King George III who said we'll see about that. The Revolutionary War lasted until 1783. We've been celebrating since!
