Germantown Academy Summer Camps

Happy 4th! It was a patriotic and FUN week at GA Summer Camps! Campers in elite sports camps had the chance to work with varsity players and head coaches. Day Campers had a great time with their friends and amazing counselors. It was an awesome Red, White, and Blue Week 2!

Rehearsals for Cinderella are off to a great start in Belfry Camp! Day Campers are spending this week in canoes, making patriotic art, playing Gaga, laughing with their troopmates, and having an all-around amazing time! Happy 4th of July GA summer campers and families!

What an awesome first week of camp! Day camp went fishing, ate snow cones, had a safari, and performed on the stage. In sports, campers left it all on the basketball court, soccer field, and faced off in lacrosse camp. All in all it's been a great start to summer!

Happy 1st Day of Camp! Excited campers came together this morning where they met their friends and teammates for the week. And they had an amazing day. Day Camp, Basketball, Lacrosse, Girls Soccer Elite, Handwork Studio, Lavner, Kids Kitchen and MultiSport all got started today! It's almost time for Day Camp Snow Cone Day! Once a week troop photos are taken and they are followed by delicious and refreshing snow cones. Just one of the many fun activities to look forward to when camp starts in 16 DAYS!

What an amazing week! What an amazing SUMMER! This week had lots of fun, games, swimming (pool and creek!), friendships, and...sharks? Keep an eye out for next year's registration in January 2024 and we can’t wait to see you next summer!

It was a camp record! Starting from a perfectly flat position, Luke M. raced up the rock wall and scored the camp's fastest climb of 35 seconds! Meanwhile, on the other side of camp, troops got to have a special treat today. Instead of a snow cone they could choose cotton candy!

At GA Summer Camps you can learn a lot but ALWAYS while having FUN! Campers in Swim Instruction are becoming better and stronger swimmers! They go from one confidence-builder to another and absolutely love going off the diving board. Kids Kitchen this week was "Sous Chef " and you can tell that they're not just baking brownies! Kids learned how to trim and prepare meats while also taking a hand at searing and flipping on the stove. Kitchen safety is taught first! If you're lucky, families got some tasty leftovers this week!

This week at GA Summer Camps there has been complete FANDEMONIUM! Campers got in the spirit by wearing their favorite sports teams' tees and caps. In addition to team spirit, troops have also been painting, singing, racing, swimming, and becoming...shaving cream monsters?
