This week was a lot of fun… recorded some Jam music , worked on 500 series, & met one of the co founders of John Jennings! Cherry on top was getting my hands on some of the best mics to offer from Royer , Telefunken, Mojave , & Manley!
Shout out to my stepdad for help me test out some gun shots for a few upcoming projects I’m working on!
Recorded 4 different guns on my Sennheiser MKH 50 & 416. Big perk is having parents who live in middle of nowhere making it very easy to get some clean recordings.
Now back in the lab to put everything together!

Wrapped on a documentary for 2 weeks with A&E.
Couldn’t take any other pictures due to the subject matter but it was only 4 Lavs , Boom , & Denecke jb1 synced to a Sony FX9.

Worked on my first XFL game for the Houston Roughnecks vs Las Vegas Vipers! Can’t complain about football during summertime & getting to watch players like Martaivs Bryant , Geronimo Allison & Vic Beasley back in action.

Forgot to post these but I got too sound mix a small short film called Disclosure on the Bayou recently! Here are some of the BTS from a scene we shot with the two actresses.
Got to Work on a documentary last few days with small & talented crew! Shot mostly with two talent on Sennheiser Lavs & MKH 416 Boom with audio being fed to camera. Even added a greef Karga to my collection
Got to record sound for the senior bowl! Also got to watch some 1 v 1 drills, keep a look out for Tyjae Spears & Jonathan Mingo on Draft Night
First time working the Sugar Bowl was a success!
Perfect football weather for last night! Last sports show I’ll be working Parab on for a while but at least it was a Tulane win
I could get used to watching football with these views! Worked sound on the Parab for Tulane vs UCF game.

Had myself a weekend! Worked the Parab on one of college football biggest rivalries LSU vs Bama & then watched the saints get blown out at home… bitter sweet🥲
The Old Misery is officially wrapped! Saved our last week for some of our most interesting locations yet. Not a complicated shoot, never more than 6 Sennheiser G4 Lavs, MKH50 for Boom, & couple comteks

Spent a couple days working on a Hulu series as a Boom op. Learned some tricks from a mixer out of LA, Marc Orozco!
