I've lived in Fort Wayne my whole life and now I'm a college student at Indiana University. I love cats and spending time with my family!! I also like to listen to music and watch all kinds of things on TV, as well as doing crafty projects whenever I get the chance.

In my day to day life, I like exploring thrift shops for unique finds, and doing random activities outside... when the weather is not too cold and not too hot, making each day a new adventure.

At Preferred IT, I help by fostering positive interactions and providing valuable assistance to both clients and colleagues. My dedication ensures that clients receive exceptional service and support, enhancing their experience and satisfaction.

Growing up, I was immersed in the world of competitive gaming, dominating leaderboards and climbing the ranks. To this day, I still hold the number one spot in lifetime score for Halo Wars and remain at the top in true skill for 1v1s. The fast-paced problem-solving and strategy required in gaming fueled my love for IT and critical thinking. Gaming taught me how to break down complex problems and tackle them one step at a time— skills that have directly translated into my career in technology.

I met my wife, Rachel, back in high school, and together we have two wonderful girls who inspire me every day to push myself further. Whether it's excelling at work or being present for my family, they remind me of the importance of balance and perseverance. My experiences in gaming have shaped how I approach challenges in both my personal and professional life—whether securing networks, setting up systems, troubleshooting issues, or maintaining strong relationships with customers, my family keeps me grounded and focused.

At Preferred IT Group, I specialize in server maintenance, managing Aruba switches and access points, handling SonicWall firewalls, and troubleshooting day-to-day tickets. From ensuring network security to resolving technical issues, I work to keep systems running smoothly, applying the same dedication and precision I honed through years of gaming and problem-solving.

Born in Oklahoma but raised in Indiana, I graduated from the Center for Information and Communications Science (CICS) Masters program at Ball State University. During the years spent in both my graduate school and undergrad program I was afforded several opportunities to explore the possible uses of AI in technology and business. I also was a contributing member in the Women Working in Technology student leadership team and the corresponding annual conference. Finally, I partnered with my fellow classmates to complete a CAPstone term project that involved the creation, configuration, and administration of network and system infrastructure for a mock business.

When not at work, I enjoy watching F1, spending time with my idiot cat, watching long-form YouTube content on niche topics, and wasting time on my computer.

At Preferred IT, my work changes not only day to day but often hour to hour. Our main function is to facilitate a better business environment for our clients using technology. Additionally, I am currently pursuing my SC 900 certification as the first step towards achieving a deeper understanding of the M365 Azure environment.
