The purpose of this organization is to support and serve as an advocate for the FW Philharmonic Orchestra in its fundraising & educational endeavors, while striving to discover and encourage musical talent.
NEW FRIENDS...The Philharmonic Friends always welcome new Friends! Do you have a heart for serving young musicians in Fort Wayne? Even a little of your time would be greatly appreciated. The current Board meets once a month and is seeking additional volunteers to fill some positions. Message us for more info or plan to attend the Annual Meeting on September 14.

ANNUAL MEETING DATE SET!! The Philharmonic Friends will be having an annual membership meeting this year on September 14, 2023 beginning at 4:00pm at Pine Valley Country Club. Please plan to attend! You may RSVP here or by Messenger.
We are so happy to be able to continue supporting music education despite the times! The Philharmonic Friends just awarded $9,679 to 28 students for the 2020-2021 school year. These scholarships are given to elementary and secondary students to help with the cost of private lessons for orchestral instruments or vocal lessons. Congratulations to our winners!
Some exciting updates are coming to the Philharmonic Friends that will make it SOOOO much easier to submit membership dues, donations and pay for tickets ONLINE. Watch for more info within the month.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY! We provide scholarships to promising elementary and secondary orchestral instrument or vocal students who need assistance in meeting the cost of private lessons.
