SUPER/MAN: THE CHRISTOPHER REEVE STORY is a beautifully executed documentary about love and resilience in the face of adversity.

Even if you’ve never seen a Christopher Reeve movie before, it’s still a very moving account of a remarkable human being. If you are a fan of the actor, or his SUPERMAN films, it paints a more complete picture of his passion, artistry, suffering and bravery.

See it in a theater, if you can, but definitely don’t miss it when it’s streaming.

How is everyone celebrating BATMAN DAY this Saturday? Lots of great events happening in DFW, from and having some fun Bat-sales and specials, to the screening the 1989 original at 5pm.
If you arrive a little early, you can see our interview with Batman movie mastermind, .

I started my pregaming a little early with a viewing of BATMAN FOREVER at AMC. I am not ashamed to admit director Joel Schumacher’s first Bat-flick is, by far, the most underrated entry in the franchise. Yes, it’s big, it’s camp, but it’s handmade, spectacular and genuinely well written with some memorable lines. It’s a clear continuation of Tim Burton’s more psychological themes, mashed up with some madcap 1966 mayhem and a budget. Lots to love.

In fact, one of my prized possessions is a card signed by Schumacher. A gift from .
