This morning at 11:00 a.m., the Morris Bates Mortuary attended to the family of Mr. Dominic Ramon Robinson. What a Celebration of Life for such a Legendary son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, servant, and dear friend!!! Pastor Douglas E. Brown reminded us that in our weakest hour and throughout the process, God is still there!!!

The Northside of Fort Worth is heartbroken at the transitioning of Lady Ottowesia Waites!!!! Ms. Weesi, as she was affectionately known, was a 97 year old pillar of the community as a mother to all, hair dresser, advisor & dear friend!!!!! What an Amazing Celebration of Love for Lady Yvonne Choate!!!!! Her children decided to celebrate her Love, Life & Legacy in both of her favorite cities: Fort Worth & Abilene, Texas; where she lays in her earthly bed of rest.

The community turned out in great numbers, as they packed the Greater True Light Baptist Church, to celebrate in the wonderful Homegoing Celebration of Life for Mr. Broderick D. Timms!!!

The Morris Bates Mortuary had the Honor and Privilege to share in the Homegoing Celebration of a "Real Life" Teddy Bear & Avenger, Mr. Alex D. Brooks!!! We Thank God for the opportunity to serve along side the newest addition to the Morris Bates Family, Mr. Greg Miller!!! There were Dynamic Ministerial Words of Wisdom & Encouragement from Pastor Milton Pace. We also Thank God for the McMillan A.M.E. Church for hosting the Family Dinner as well as the Usher Board's Spirit of Excellence in Assistance & Participation throughout this Celebration!!! It was a Beautiful Service, befitting our Well Loved, Alex D. Brooks!!!

The Morris Bates Family was highly honored to serve the Crossley Family today!!! We received a warm welcome from Pastor R.J. McGinty & the Community Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Kevin Haliburton, Sr. officiated extremely well, assisted by his brother, Pastor T.J. Haliburton & Pastor Keith Brown. Pastor Nathan J. Hogan blessed us with a wonderful word from the Lord, so that we can "Fight a Good Fight". The singers were amazing in their own individual ways, while the beat was melodically carried by Mr. Tony Moody. It was a very wonderful Homegoing Celebration that was topped off by the hospitality and beauty of the Laurel Land Memorial Park. This was truly a way to Celebrate Christmas for a husband, a father, a deacon, and as mentioned today, a Coach (on the field and off)!!!!! God Bless the entire Crossley Family!!!!
