This week our Trailblazers got to visit the Aviation Museum! They learned so much about the aircraft there and asked so many great questions!

Earth Day was Monday! We have spent the week learning about recycling and about how to enjoy our beautiful planet!

Yesterday was Planting Day at Lionheart! Our preschool students had so much fun planting flowers and a small herb and veggie garden!

It's Artsy Thursday! 🎨⁠
Children develop creativity, social skills and fine motor skills with open-ended art projects where they can make choices, use their imaginations, and create with their hands. Artsy Thursday celebrates the joy and learning children experience when they make art!

It's work together Wednesday!

🎵 Today is Music Monday! 🎵⁠
are spending the day singing, dancing, listening to music, and even playing with some instruments! We're focusing on music today because it helps develop children's language and early literacy skills. Hooray for music and movement!

Next week we will be celebrating the Week of the Young Child! We will diving into art, music, learning to work together, and spending time learning with our families. This is a time we get to highlight our kiddos in an environment they love to learn in and the ways they enjoy learning.

This months theme is out of this world!

This month, our class activities will be centered on the theme Space and Sky. We'll be learning about what we can see in space from earth, planets, and space exploration. We think it will be out of this world!

Well friends, that's a wrap! February flew by! We learned about love, friendship, and caring for others. Here are a few highlights from our last week of February!

Last week was Hero's week! We got to meet an officer and check out his cool gadgets. We also learned about nurses! Bless our heroes that help keep us safe!

This month we are learning about the character trait of bravery. We know that our kids will have to be brave to take a stand for what is true and right in this world. It is a privilege to get to start equipping them for their stand at such a young age!

Our friends have been on quite the adventure this week! Our infants went to Iceland and learned about the cold ice there. Our early preschoolers when down to the station and learned about trains. Our preschoolers got to learn about pyramids and practiced the letter Q for queen!

Today is National girls and Women in sports day! Our Trailblazer’s teacher plays softball and brought in some of her gear to show our friends! They enjoyed seeing pictures of our teacher playing softball in the Dominican Republic and they got to toss around her softball!
