Home cooking Dale and Theresa Simon opened their first restaurant in January 1983. I was hesitant at first but soon agreed.
At that time the restaurants name was Theresa’s Cafe named after my wife Theresa. This had been a life long dream of hers, So after our fourth daughter started school, Theresa talked me into helping make her dream come true. Our first place was small, seating only about 30 people. Funeral services for Dale Simon will be at Laurel Land Funeral home on Wednesday May 8th from 8:00-10:00 A.M.
Visitation will be on from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday May 7th .

It is with a heavy heart to say that Dale Simon passed away this morning. I would like for everyone to please keep this family in your prayers . He will be missed by many . He is in Gods hands now and with relatives that have gone on before him . 💔 It is a very sad day . Please bare with family and crew as they mourn this huge loss for Dixie House . We will try to keep everyone updated . Thank you in advance for your prayers. 🙏♥️
