My procrastination led me to a Google search for art supplies without having to drive to Dallas. I was surprised and pleased to find this lovely little shop downtown at 316 Main St. It’s called Lookout Hill. They carry Golden, Daniel Smith, Williamsburg paints, a variety of brushes and various papers and art supplies. The owner was a manager at Asel for many years before their close. They also carry BEAUTIFUL YARNS. Check them out, give them your business and spread the word!

We have a fantastic 1-day workshop coming up on June 7th! Cheryl Darrow will be leading a workshop on Gelli Plate Printing - this is a fantastic way to be creative! Workshops are open to both members and guestsof The Woman's Club - so invite your friends!

We had a special treat today - a private tour of early American art at the BNSF Railroad headquarters! This work ranged from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s, and was commissioned by the early American railroad companies to encourage vacation travel by rail to the western US National parks. This was an unbelievable collection of art!
