Brie & Olive Baking

It has been some time since I have posted on here. I had to take a step back from the bakery over the last couple years due to some personal things going on in life, and scheduling. I am hoping in the next couple months to start things up again, but a little differently than before. Stay tuned for updates!

It's been some time since I have done a brief about Brie & Olive.

I started this bakery after living 10+ years eating gluten free and having been diagnosed with Celiac. I had always loved to bake prior to that diet change, but found the idea of GF baking to be very daunting when I first made the change. After years of having terrible pre-packaged options, I decided to take the leap and found that my instincts and experience baking helped a lot in my GF baking journey. After several years of baking and giving goods as gifts to friends and co-workers, I was encouraged by many to pursue this as a career. So January 2022 I began Brie & Olive Baking.

Every recipe is cultivated through hours of research, multiple bakes and tweaks, and nothing but the best ingredients. I put in days, and weeks, and sometimes months, into perfecting every recipe to provide the best product before offering something up for purchase.

I am so grateful to every person who has purchased baked goods, encouraged me, supported me, and reviewed this page. Being able to do this even part time would not be possible without any of you. This will continue to be a part time pursuit through 2023, but we'll see what next year has in store as it comes.

Thank you so much for supporting this little bakery, and I look forward to providing you all with new recipes, new options, and even more deliciousness as I develop more recipes.

November has run away with me!! Due to some crazy things happening this month I sadly will not be having a pop up sale, but I will be taking orders for Thanksgiving goodies to be delivered Wednesday the 23rd of November (you can have delivered sooner if needed. I'll have a full menu and pricing up by Wednesday this week (plan is to do it tonight).

It’s been a crazy couple weeks but I wanted to thank everyone who came out to the sale on the 25th. It was so great meeting everyone! Thank you so much for supporting my business!

Well hey there Gluten Free Family, it's been some time since I have been on here. I had to put a few things on hold due to life haha. I was playing with an idea and would love to get some feedback from you all...What interest do you all have in a monthly pop-up? Basically I would have specific items available for individual sale or bundles, I post the week before where that location would be, and what day, and then items are for sale until I'm out. Is there a lot of interest in that? Let me know!!

This weekend was full of baking, and I might have two new favourites. Never thought cinnamon rolls would be a favourite, but there was just something so satisfying about seeing these turn out after so many failed attempts. They were perfect, delicious, and I couldn’t be happier!

I now have a Vegan cupcake on the menu. These beauties get better and better each time I make them. Vegan Strawberry Cupcake with a Vegan Strawberry CreamCheese “butter”cream.

It's been a bit since my last post, but I am currently taking orders for Father's Day, as well as any generic orders for the month of June. Let me know if you need anything!

I know it’s not a baked good, but this is one of my favourite, quick and easy meals to make. Just a creamy Parmesan sauce, shrimp, and a gluten free pasta. Never gets old, it’s so simple, and ready in less than 20 minutes.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup inspired cake. I don’t typically do iced cakes, icing a cake is not a strength I have. This is for a friends birthday. 4 layer joconde sponge, Peanut Butter buttercream frosting, chocolate mousse filling, and some leftover mousse to add some texture. All gluten free, all delicious, creamy, and smoothe. Looking forward to sharing this with her.

There’s just something about a cup of tea, vanilla almond cookies, and cold weather. It’s a dreamy combination. These are now one of my favourite cookies to bake.
